It's time to start getting in the Christmas spirit - at least, according to the Hallmark Channel, which released its full slate of holiday movies on Sept. 19. This year's crop of films features a number of new faces and fresh plots to immerse you in the scent of pine trees and the sound of Christmas carols, as well as some relatively familiar faces, such as John Travolta's sister Ellen, who stars in "Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up."

Hallmark has revealed that it will have 40 all-new, original movies for both its flagship channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, as well as special content for Hallmark Movies Now, the company’s subscription streaming service.
Even though the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes impacted TV and film productions, Hallmark anticipated the labor dispute by getting a head start on production in Canada. “Christmas is a year-round business at Hallmark, so we were able to mitigate early in the year understanding that the strikes were unfortunately imminent,” Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of programming at Hallmark Media, was recently quoted as saying. “We’re grateful to meet all our goals for a full, all-new holiday slate and to bring our viewers the content they love most to celebrate the season.”

Spoiler Alert: The report includes details about the Season 3 finale of How to Get Away with Murder.
Tonight’s series finale of ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder was filled with twists and turns, but fans finally got answers to some pressing questions — most important, whether Annalise will be absolved of her crimes.
Here’s what went down.
The season finale, titled “Stay,” opens with a shooting at the courthouse, and chaos breaks out. We get more context on that later.
The show rewinds to three days earlier, where Annalise (Viola Davis) is panicking after learning of the death of Hannah. Frank (Charlie Weber) is thought to be the perpetrator as he just learned some very shocking news about his parents — he was born out of an incestuous relationship between Hannah and her late brother/Annalise’s ex-husband Sam. It’s later implied that Governor Birkhead (Laura Innes) was behind her killing.

Exclusive: Me, Myself and I and The McCarthys alumna Kelen Coleman and William R. Moses (Canal Street) are set to recur on the upcoming sixth and final season of ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder.

Moses is reprising the role of Agent Lanford, an FBI agent investigating Annalise and the Keating 4.

With the success of TNT's reboot of "Dallas," it appears those involved with other '80s primetime soaps are looking to get in on the trend.
TV Guide reports that several stars of CBS' 1981-1990 series "Falcon Crest" have been approached by one of the original series' writers to gauge their interest in a reboot.
Original star William Moses, who portrayed Cole Bioberti, says, "There's not much I can say, for reasons that go beyond myself. Warner Bros. owns the rights and so it's a discussion between them and the writers. There is a pitch and an idea germinating that has some traction. The producers contacted me to ask if I'd be interested, and I said yes. Where is goes on the producing side, I don't know."

Patricia Kluge had it all-beauty, an exotic past, and a rumored "cool billion" post-divorce. So how did she lose it all, from her 960-acre Virginia winery to her 45-room mansion? Sandra McElwaine on Kluge's dizzying fall.
The saga of Patricia Kluge is one of glamour, sex, power, and money-and the luxurious lifestyle she so carefully crafted has crashed and burned. The era of conspicuous consumption for the ex-wife of the late billionaire John Kluge came to an end last month, when several banks foreclosed on an elaborate 960-acre winery and real-estate development she had established in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1999. And just last week, Bank of America delivered the coup de grace, filing suit against Kluge, claiming she defaulted on three loans worth $23 million. The bank stepped in and seized Albemarle, her opulent, 45-room Georgian mansion, adjacent to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.

Talk about wanting to be absolutely sure someone is really dead. Castle (Nathan Fillion) and his daughter, Alexis (Molly Quinn), are going over his latest chapter of his Nikki Heat novel -- where upon Castle decides to get rid of his "doofus" character Detective Schlemming (venting his frustrations?) -- when he is called to a crime scene. Beckett (Stana Katic) informs him that upscale men’s products designer Dameon Wilder has been shot and bludgeoned with a blunt object. Apparently, he needed to die twice. Looking over the crime scene, they discover that, in addition to "Murder" being scrawled in blood on a mirror, Wilder’s rare book collection has been stolen. The robbery, much to Castle’s dismay, will bring in Beckett’s current squeeze, Detective Tom Demming (Michael Trucco) from the robbery-homicide division. Both men are smart, charming, and good looking, but Demming does have Castle beat on...
