Kelsey Shaw McNeal was born on January 28 in California, USA. He is known for his work on Heat (1995), Life as a House (2001) 24 (2006-2010), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-2018), and Black-ish (2014-2020). He is married to Stephanie Cheeva McNeal. They have three children.

A native of Northern California, McNeal was introduced to photography by his father at the age of eight. What began as a light-hearted hobby has developed over the years into a passion driven career. A member of The International Cinematographers Guild, Local 600, since 1993, McNeal has spent many years behind the camera. This time has garnered him experience and exposure to a vast and eclectic array of locations and subjects ranging from to the 2nd Lady and her Secret Service to Metallica From Bono to The Jonas Brothers, from the interior of a nuclear submarine to barren sand dunes from a massive car pile-up on a Los Angeles freeway to across the world in Cape Town, South Africa.
McNeal excels at identifying and capturing the unique characteristics, elements and emotion within his subjects. When not working as a unit photographer, he shoots television productions, portraits, magazine covers, editorial and in addition commercial and urban photography. He lives in Los Angeles.
