After many previous DGA Award nominations, Lance recently took home the 2022 DGA Award for Apple's BEST FOOT FORWARD in Children's Programs.
He received his degree from Claremont McKenna College (within the Claremont Colleges consortium), where he dual majored in Film Studies and Psychology. Eager for more hands on camera experience early in his career, Lance started his own Fearless Productions, to showcase his talent and develop his film-making skills. He completed a Directing focused program with the New York Film Academy at UCLA, and won Best Comedy/Parody Short at Comic-Con International Film Festival, producing THE VINYL BATTLE.
Lance has amassed twenty+ years of professional experience in all aspects of feature, television, and commercial production. As an Assistant Director, he's helped schedule and coordinate many memorable projects for the big and small screen (ARGO, SUPAH NINJAS, DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG, FRED: THE SHOW, GORTIMER GIBBON'S LIFE ON NORMAL STREET, BONES, SMOSH: THE MOVIE, ANOTHER PERIOD). But in the last year, he just finished producing Netflix's THE VINCE STAPLES SHOW.
Known for staying levelheaded and calm when faced with challenges, Lance's strength is in his consistent, creative and budget-minded approach to each project's unique story and vision. He is proof that hard work, dedication, and passion pay off.
Lance resides in Burbank, California with his family. When he's not pushing to elevate a script to screen, you can usually find him coaching and playing baseball with his three young boys - Ben, Carter, & Dylan.
