- Was one of the the top male models of the 80s. Worldwide print campaigns included Versace, Armani, Calvin Klein and L&M cigarettes.
- Brent was a two sport athlete at the University of Missouri. He played guard on the basketball team and high jumped 6' 10" in track.
- First major role was in the cult classic, The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak (1984) (aka "The Peril's of Gwendoline"), which was filmed in Paris, Morocco and the Philippines. At the time, "The Peril's of Gwendoline" was one of France's most expensive films.
- Discovered by the Ford Modeling Agency and moved to New York shortly after leaving the University of Missouri.
- Los Angeles model agent Nina Blanchard introduced Brent to his future wife, model-actress Shawn Huff (aka Shawn Furman). They married in 1989 and have a daughter Bailey Huff.
- Brent and Brad Pitt both graduated from Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri. Both were inducted into the Kickapoo Theater Hall of Fame and attended the University of Missouri.
- Is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
- Is a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
