Rachel Feldman is a film and television director and writer. Feldman is directing Patricia Clarkson in "Lilly," a political thriller she wrote based the life of fair pay activist Lilly Ledbetter. Feldman is a veteran director in television drama, with recent credits on "The Rookie, Blue Bloods, Criminal MInds," and the pilot and first season of "The Baxters." Her movie credits include: "Love Notes, She's No Angel, and Witchcraft III." Her pilot script "Kinks," winner of The Best Pilot Screencraft Award is in development.
Feldman has been an outspoken activist regarding gender parity in Hollywood and chaired the DGA Women's Steering Committee. She holds an MFA from NYU in directing, where her graduate thesis film won top awards and garnered grants from The AFI, The NEA, The Jerome Foundation, Kodak, Panavision, and Technicolor. Her BA is from Sarah Lawrence College and Parsons School of Design.
Among Rachel's many credits as a prolific child actor, she voiced the character of Lucy in Peanuts animation. Years later, she enjoyed a stint on Madison Avenue as a junior art director/copywriter at Young & Rubicam. Her first jobs in Hollywood were storyboarding studio pictures for directors: Brian De Palma, Peter Yates and Jerry Belson.
