Natima Bradley
- Actress
If you were a fan of the cult classic film, Fresh, then you already
know the phenomenal acting style of Natima Sheree. Natima took the film
industry by storm at the age of 11 creating the role of Rosie in the
1994 hit movie which also featured Samuel L. Jackson and Giancarlo
Esposito.
Natima was born and raised in Jamaica, NY into a remarkably talented family that includes her father, internationally renowned musician/producer Kevin Harrington, the late Mia Amber Davis of Road Trip fame, and the late, great jazz musician, band leader and composer, Dizzy Gillespie.
A participant in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, her Big Sister Amelia Sheldon was very aware of the awesome talent Natima possessed at an early age. When she saw a casting notice for Fresh, she did not hesitate to recommend Natima to go out for the part. With her parents' approval, she took her to the first audition, and the rest is history.
Life, as it often does, took a series of turns that led Natima away from her true calling. She became a devoted military wife and mother as she pursued a successful corporate career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Management. She has found success in many areas, becoming a highly respected mentor and leader in her community, much like the Big Sister that saw her potential and led her to the door of opportunity in the industry. She has also faced her share of disappointments and adversity. Life has led her back to her true calling, and she is poised for a triumphant comeback.
Natima appeared in a 2007 episode of HBO's hit TV series, The Wire, and in KN Jamz Entertainment's music video Fuss or Fight. She has wrapped production on Skye Dennis' The Journey of Herman Stone and Raymond Deane's Travail.
Plans are in the works for a Reality Series tentatively entitled All Grown Up, which will chronicle Natima's journey back to her rightful place in the industry.
