- Mary-Kate [Mary-Kate Olsen] and Ashley [Ashley Olsen], who played Michelle, were great. I miss them, I love them, and I need to borrow some money from them.
- [on starring in Full House (1987)] The whole time I was on it, I wished I was on another show, I'm not gonna lie to you. But I look back on it fondly, and I'm proud of it. Was it Seinfeld (1989), Friends (1994), The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970)? No. Was it a heartwarming show you could watch with your kids? Yes. And there's nothing wrong with that.
- This is an old family secret, and I just found this out recently, and it almost broke my heart. My mother said to me, "I had never told you this, but God, you were an ugly baby".
- I grew up with sisters, which was fun. Being outnumbered, they always got their way. However, they are great judges of character. If I bring home a new girlfriend, I can tell within minutes if they approve or not. It's saved me from many painful relationships, so I will always appreciate them for that.
- I was so young when I started on Full House (1987). I started on the show at age 25 and when the show ended, I was only 33. People that age these days look like kids. It's hard to believe "Uncle Jesse" was pretty much a kid on that show.
- I always knock around the idea of a reunion, whether that's a new TV show or a movie or something else. I keep an open mind about it. I think getting everyone back together would be the tricky part about that. A remake I think is more realistic. Get some new actors, update the characters, make it more modern. I'd like to be involved with it creatively if there ever was a realistic chance of it being made.
- [on the terrorist attack that occurred on May 22, 2017 at an Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena] I will play with The Beach Boys tomorrow night in memory of all those we lost and as a prayer for the strength to carry on in these troubling times. Manchester will be in my heart now and always.
- [on the terrorist attack that occurred on May 22, 2017 at an Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena] As I sit in my hotel room, less than half a mile from the attack, I can't help but think of these young kids who just wanted to go to a concert and sing and dance and be taken away if just for the night. I was one of those kids doing the same when I was young hanging out at Beach Boys shows. The songs may be different but it's the same joy those young kids felt Monday night in Manchester.
- [on the terrorist attack that occurred on May 22, 2017 at an Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena] Concerts are one of the greatest experiences in life they are enduring symbols of freedom and liberty. You cheer, you sing, you dance. You leave exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. You remember every show you attend. They're all special. I think of all those parents who surprised their kids with tickets and my heart aches. I think of all those fans and how important that show was to them. My heart aches for the victims, their families and music fans everywhere. I couldn't sit in my room any longer, so I got out and started walking around near the arena thinking... How do we explain this to kids? How do you make sense of such a horrific tragedy? For a moment, I was comforted by the sight of a police officer comforting a young child. It reminded me that compassion and love will always conquer hate.
- [on the sudden passing of his friend and 'Full House' co-star Bob Saget]: I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.
