- TriviaDaniel Craig was injured at least three times during the making of this movie. The most prominent ones included an injury to his face, which required four stitches, another to his shoulder, which required six surgical screws to be inserted in an operation, and his arm in a sling, and then his hand was injured when one of his finger tips was sliced off. He laughed these off, noting they did not delay filming, and joked his finger wound would enable him to have a criminal career (though it had grown back when he made this comment). He also had minor plastic surgery on his face.
- GoofsIt is clear that the outset of Bolivia was filmed in several different countries. Whereas in La Paz people speak with what appears to be a Mexican accent, people in the desert such as the desert hotel waitress and the plane owner speak with a Chilean accent. The Bolivian scenes were filmed in the Atacama Desert in Chile, Colon in Panama and the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico.
- Quotes
James Bond: [Interrupting the opera house conversation] Can I offer an opinion? I really think you people should find a better place to meet.
- Crazy creditsThe iconic "James Bond gun barrel" sequence, not seen in its traditional format since Die Another Day, is incorporated into the closing credits.
- Alternate versionsFollowing an advisory screening of a rough cut, the film was pre-cut on BBFC advice in the UK before official submission to the Board for a formal cinema classification, with edits made to one scene in the finale. It was subsequently passed "uncut" as a 12A. More detailed notes can be found on the BBFC's website. Worldwide versions are this same pre-cut version.

Featured review
Excellent movie, I won't add spoilers, but be aware, it's a sequel to Casino Royale and is necessarily darker in tone. Bond has shut down emotionally as a consequence of Vesper's death and is driven to investigate and, to some extent, avenge her death.
Daniel Craig further extends his takeover of the role, he exudes a sense of sadness with a ruthless drive to move forward with his mission. Mention should be made of Judi Dench - she delivers another excellent performance as M.
Would heartily recommend watching Casino Royale on DVD beforehand if you own it, specifically to prepare and remind yourself of the odd plot point as they certainly will be relevant here.
Bond fans rest assured it's fantastic entertainment. It has to be agreed that it is lacking in old-school quips and innuendo, but in my opinion it is entirely in keeping with Bond's situation in this movie. There are some beautiful locations though, especially in Italy and the Aston looks great, for a little while!
As Bond himself says, "you don't have to worry about me". I'm not worried about the franchise and the third part of this trilogy will be worth looking forward to.
