Bringing Christmas Home (2023)
Beautiful Christmas story
My family and I loved this heartfelt Christmas movie. It focuses on our military/veterans and also family and love. Jill Wagner and Paul Greene star in this film and really do have great chemistry and on screen magic. An antique store owner enlists the help of a retired military professor to help reunite a lost artifact from the war to its owner. It's a beautiful story as they work together to solve the mystery in time for Christmas. There's of course a love story or two! Great acting from Paul Greene and Jill Wagner. Highly recommend and cannot wait to rewatch with my family again this holiday season. Also beautiful music and song at the end.
I'm Glad It's Christmas (2022)
I'm so Glad for this movie
This movie was a fun, musical film starring the incredible icon that is Ms Gladys Knight. How do you get more iconic?! Jessica Lowndes and Paul Greene also star and sing in the film. I loved how musical this was and that everyone got to show their talents with Gladys. She really lead this film and that was so much fun to watch. Paul Greene is one of my favorite actors & performers, I love that he got a chance to show off his singing talents while acting. He is really growing and rising in his career. Jessica Lowndes also sounded so great!! They had fun banter and good chemistry/ music compatibility. Really impressed with Paul Greene this year!!!
Fit for Christmas (2022)
Fit for Christmas for the win
I absolutely adored this movie!!! Amanda Kloots makes her first acting/movie debut with the handsome Paul Greene in this holiday rom com. I've been a long fan of Paul Greene, his acting and singing, and I believe this is his best acting to date! Really glad to see him on a CBS movie this year. The dialogue and humor was quick and felt really natural with these two, not to mention their chemistry... Wow!!! The supporting cast was also quite funny and a blast to watch!! The entire cast really seemed like they were having the best time on this movie. There was heart, soul, holiday desserts, fitness, laughs, cries and lots of Christmas nostalgia. Such a great, adorable film!! Absolutely loved it. Would love a sequel.
Christmas CEO (2021)
Christmas CEO is a keeper!
I really look forward to Hallmark's Holiday movies every year, I was excited when I saw some of the previews. So far I've really enjoyed Kiss Before Christmas with James Denton and also Christmas CEO with Paul Greene. This movie also costars Marisol Nichols who some may know from Riverdale or the recent Spiral/Saw movie. The story is about two childhood friends who started a toy business together, who then grow up to become adults. Who seem to have a different idea of how their toy business should be run. This story is about how the two friends reunite and a holiday romance may ensue in the process! There is also a young actress who plays Marisol's niece who sings and is very talented! Give this movie a watch if you like either of these actors, great heartwarming family film.
A Christmas Love Story (2019)
Kristin Chenoweth is delightful...
I know this was the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie for Christmas 2019, it might of had a larger budget then others? Probably! but the storyline was overall very good! Kristin's acting was very good and she had wonderful chemistry with Scott Wolf!
It had all the feels a movie should!
Loved the twist towards the ending (no spoilers) here!
Overall - A Christmas Love Story was 9 out of 10 for my review. My only question was why was Eric Close's character (boss) of Scott Wolf's character, in some of the scenes? It felt like he inserted himself right into the middle of scenes without any purpose? Just to be seen? It was very confusing! it did not feel like the two characters were close outside of work?! I know Eric Close was the Director, so maybe he just wanted to be visible?? Hmmmm.....
Christmas Town (2019)
Different and refreshing!!
I Loved the story and I Love Candace Cameron Bure!! Her movies never disappoint and I like how she picks different Christmas Movies every year, never a repeat of ones done before! The only thing that did not work for me in this movie was Tim Rozon as CCB's Love interest. I know! I know! but all I could see was "Mutt" from Schitt's Creek! With the big overgrown beard! Mumbling his words. Sorry Hallmark, I just couldn't see him as a leading man quite yet. Maybe in time?
Check Inn to Christmas (2019)
Checking out maybe?!
Check Inn to Christmas was a cute title for a movie!
Right?! The movie just felt overdone, same old movie just different title. Rachel Boston is adorable in almost everything she is in! I just did not feel the connection or chemistry with Wes Brown, a little forced.
It kind of felt a little boring to me! It did not draw me in at all, nothing really to hold my interest.
Christmas at Dollywood (2019)
No chemistry between the leads.....
The hype for "Christmas in Dollywood" was a little to much and I was expecting to love this movie.
I mean who doesn't love Dolly Parton right?
She's amazing!!
I also love Nina Weinman, she is a beautiful storyteller and writes beautiful scripts! Keep her Hallmark!
I personally did not feel Nail Matter was not a good fit for Danica! Or for this movie, I felt NO chemistry and NO sparks between them at all! The dancing scene was VERY hard to watch!! So sorry.....
I have always loved Danica, especially in previous Hallmark movies with Paul Greene (When calls the Heart) they always have beautiful onscreen chemistry together (Campfire Kiss) And (Perfect Match) which I feel Paul would of been a much better leading man for Danica and for this part. Nail is just ok for me here, he mumbled his lines A LOT! I could not understand what he was saying most of the movie! He is much better suited with Erin Krakow (Finding Father Christmas) movies.
Twinkle All the Way (2019)
Twinkled out !!
Love the leads but this one did not work for me!
Lack of chemistry, weak storyline and the same old Christmas story. Lifetime please write heartfelt stories like - "Every other Holiday" This movie was so good and different! Very real and in these times very relatable.
A Christmas Miracle (2019)
Just No .........
I'm sorry Hallmark this one did not work for me!
The acting and story were subpar......
But everyone tries!
Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy (2019)
Maggie Lawson and Paul Greene are magic In Evergreen
Christmas In Evergreen: Tidings of Joy is such a breath of fresh air this holiday season! In my opinion, it's one of the best Christmas movies this year. From the very beginning, Paul and Maggie have great onscreen chemistry and immediately grabbed my attention. I'm such a fan of Paul Greene and his acting is at its best here! The town of Evergreen is celebrating their 50th Anniversary of their Christmas Festival. But this is more than just your typical movie about a festival, the whole town is working to uncover the lost Christmas time capsule. There were several stories that intertwined together throughout the film. Sometimes this can feel overwhelming in other movies but this worked well in here, I think this is a testament to the great writing. I truly was surprised by how much I like this movie, it's quite different and full of heartwarming surprises. There is such a spectacular cast all around! Paul and Maggie really do such an amazing job leading this movie and work so well with each other! I'd love to see them in more projects together! This film is so special and truly already a Christmas classic!
Picture a Perfect Christmas (2019)
Did not work!!
I was really bored with this movie! Not the worst but certainly not the best either. Couldn't connect with the leads, or Get into the story.
Buttons (2018)
Buttons will steal your heart
Wasn't sure what to expect watching Buttons from the trailer. It blew away all of my expectations and even more. The singing and dancing - Dick Van Dyke is 93 years old and Sang and danced beautifully. Angela Lansbury is 94 and is terrific as always and tells the story. The sweet little girl Annabelle was so talented and adorable. Tim Janis composed this beautiful soundtrack and is very gifted in his own right. I bought the DVD for my mother, I know she is going to love Buttons just as much as our family. Do not turn this movie off after 5-10 minutes, you need to watch all of it to see the story unfold, you will fall in love with the heartwarming story. Beautiful cast all around, believing, Love and music is so amazing!
A Christmas Detour (2015)
Paul Greene is so good......
If you love Paul Greene you will love this movie..
I watch "A Christmas Detour" every single year and it never gets old, just gets better. I absolutely love this cute movie.
A Bramble House Christmas (2017)
Autumn Reaser is pretty good but needed another male lead
Actually the only reason I watched this movie was because of Autumn. That's why I gave this movie 5 stars. I thought the male lead was off and felt no chemistry. MAYBE Hallmark should use more of Antonio Cupo and Paul Greene as Male leads in more movies. They both would be excellent leads with Autumn.
Noelle (2019)
Anna Kendrick is adorable....
Everyone else who purchased Disney streaming has watched Noelle or will watch for the upcoming Holiday season. I really had no expectations of loving this Christmas movie but it turned out to be a cute and fun retelling of a story we all know. Great Movie for families.
Anna Kendrick was just right for this role, she was a joy to watch and was so cheerful..
Every Other Holiday (2018)
Christmas keeper
I really didn't have any expectations for Every Other Holiday......
but surprisingly my family and I really enjoyed this one.
Acting was pretty good between the leads, I would give this movie a watch!
The Mistletoe Secret (2019)
The Mistletoe Mess........
I usually love most of the Hallmark Christmas movies but this one was so painful to watch. I think Kellie Picker is so sweet and a gifted singer. Although, I do wish Kellie might take a couple acting lessons...
I tried really hard to like this movie but I couldn't get past the first 15 minutes of the acting. I just didn't feel any heart or soul or connect with the leads.
A Wish for Christmas (2016)
Paul Greene and Lacey Chabert
Very cute story !! I Loved the great chemistry between the leads. I am not sure what movie the other reviewers watched? This Christmas Movie offers a beautiful message of bringing families back together.
Merry & Bright (2019)
Merry and dull?
This is so bland and not appealing enough...... although,
I did not have high expectations for Merry and Bright, it could of been written and acted so much better. This just felt like the same run of the mill story, nothing new or super exciting. As Hallmark viewers we need more complex thought- provoking movies.
Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses (2019)
I must of missed something
Wanted to love this! but again, I felt very little chemistry between the two leads. there was no emotional connection to the leads or the storyline. It needed more heart to draw me in. Hallmark needs to work on creating/writing more complex storylines for the viewers.
Holiday for Heroes (2019)
Really like Marc Blucas but
I felt this movie fell a little flat for me. I was hoping for a little more chemistry between the leads, while I really like Marc Blucas and it centered around the solders, I felt the female lead Melissa Clare Egan was not a good match and was rushing her lines. Again, like another reviewer I would of loved to of seen Marc Blucas reunite with Tricia Helfer in an Operation Christmas sequel instead of this one. The ending was good, just a little to late for me. Wasn't to sure about Patti Murins character, but I did think the standout actor in this movie was the co-worker/friend Latarsha Rose Who played jade.
The Morning Show (2019)
Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell
Jennifer Aniston stole the entire show and is the real star of The Morning Show! Her acting is that good. Steve Carell is very good too!
Never been a fan of Billy Crudup, but he really stands out with his character. I Haven't connected with Reece's character or storyline at all.
The Mistletoe Promise (2016)
This one missed all the marks
Jamie king was really bad in this movie. Am I the only one that saw Jamie try to cry and not one tear flowed. No chemistry between the leads, and the storyline fell flat. Sorry Hallmark this one did not work for me.
Luke McFarland deserved a better co-star.
Holiday in the Wild (2019)
Yes, to this heartwarming movie
This sweet movie really had me tearing up with happy emotions throughout the entire movie. Please Do not listen to any of the negative reviews. This beautiful movie was tugging at my heartstrings from the very beginning to the very end. Thank you for bringing up the importance of the elephant conservation and rescue to the forefront. We all could learn more about this cause. Add in Rob Lowe and Kristen Davis and it's a truly adorable and fun holiday movie to watch and enjoy. Would love to see a sequel!!
