Keep Watching (2017)

So many questions remain...

My rating: 2 First of all, who is the killer, why is this person doing this, how did all of those cameras get in the house? Maybe I missed something, but this movie has more questions than answers.

It's about this family that moved in this house and it has cameras everywhere, in the ceiling fan, sink faucet, above the toilet. Evidently someone is watching their every move. So one night the "killer/ watcher" comes to kill the family. The visiting uncle was the first to go. Now he/she is in the house knocking off each family member one by one.

The ending was ok, but I've fallen asleep three times on this movie because of its slow pace and all the camera angles got on my nerves. It would've been a better movie if the director would've mixed it up a bit with camera angles and us watching the movie in real time (like we watch normal movies).

I wouldn't and couldn't watch this again nor would I recommend. But everyone's entitled to at least watch for yourself.

Alice in Borderland (2020– )

Easy Binge

I actually had to watch this twice to get certain things. I couldn't understand how they ended up in a building with no one else around until they started playing the game. Season 2 gives a little more insight and I know for sure it will be a S3, if not I'd be surprised. This series starts out with 4 friends hanging out but everyone disappears. The weird thing that wasn't explained was if they were in fact in another world/ realm that made them stuck in the game. S2 ends with them given a choice to continue, which gives another chance to kill each other or go back to normal. The games consists of all of the card suits and the games are determined by which card was presented. For example, if a 4 of hearts was pulled, they would potentially have to kill their friend, The hearts face card is the hardest for most. Great weekend binge.

M3GAN (2022)

In the first 30 mins, it seemed like a thriller, then switched to horror, then comedy and back again. I laughed a couple of times in the movie because Megan is comical in certain scenes. But it does become a great fight scene towards the end. The movie is about an estranged aunt that takes guardianship of her niece. In the struggles of balancing life, her aunt decides to make a niece a guinea pig for her new A. I. project that turns south quickly. This is not your average A. I., Megan has emotions that is shown throughout the movie. She learns by watching others and soaks up the info.

I say watch it. Great entertainment and surely it shows how this world will evolve with A. I.s.

Dirty John (2018–2020)

Lifetime movie made into series...

Same storyline of some desperate, naive, blonde that is so blinded by "love", she sees nothing else...it almost makes you want to throw tomatoes at this lady because of how stupid she is. Thank God some of us are born with common sense...

Where are all of the 9 and 10 stars coming from?!!! This movie had potential but completely failed at the end. Very confusing. It could've been a lot better. Watch if you're bored, but don't rush to see it.

I should've read the reviews, but im one to give all movies a chance...I was sadly mistaken for watching the whole thing!! Dont make the same mistake I made....cut it off!! Not even worth 10 mins!! RUN. RUN. RUN. Boring...no plot...no direction...HOR-RI BLE!!!!

I thought I would give this a shot despite all of the 1 stars I saw...I regret it!! I got 28 mins in and nothing...was this made in 1991 or 2021?! Actors, directing, quality, etc...all needs to be revamped.

This movie was all over the place, sadly, because it had great potential. Soon as a scene gets interesting, it flops. Goes nowhere. You're stuck to your own beliefs. No backstories. No action. A slow riding drama. They didn't go into detail or anything except for the man's marriage...which was a waste of film.

I gave it 5 stars because I like Mackie and like I said, some scenes were actually good and the plot was interesting.

Stephen King should've written and directed this movie...it would've been less boring.

I thought I would give a try despite the bad reviews but 20 mins into the movie I started getting up from the couch and walking around...totally forgot the movie was on. It didn't capture my attention at all. Not scary!! Only got 2 stars bc the boy acting well.

It was ok...nothing I would watch again. If the mob wants you dead..they'll make sure you're dead. I agree with most of the other reviews...very unrealistic. The script shouldve included an investigation...it would've made things a little more interesting.

6.6.21 The movie was very hard to follow...I agree with the other reviews. If it wasn't for the fight scenes, we would've turned it off. That's the only reason we gave it 5 stars...and that's generous.

4.26.21 just finished this movie...no action...no ghosts...bad acting...no excitement...will never watch twice or recommend anyone, not even my cat, to watch this boring so called horror. More of a drama..

Great Story Line but...

It took an hour or more to get to the action of the movie; the actual fighting of the terrorist. They should've spent more time on scenes from the train and learning more about the ppl on the train, including the terrorist, than we did about their passions to be in the military. Don't get us wrong, that was a significant part of the movie too, but needed more action to keep our interest. We commend the guys for what they did. Real survivors acting their parts in the movie.
