The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (2008)
Best Hallmark Movie (so far)
I've seen 18 holiday Hallmark movies. On the scale of Hallmark movies, this is the best! Acting, story, I can play Hallmark Bingo, there is even a little violence, theft, and the funny parts made me laugh. The little kid is a good actor. The couple seem like they like each other. There is snow, tradition, a turkey, family, and people finding what is really important. It would be a ten if it happened in a quaint village and there was a snowstorm that cuts off the only road to town.
Hats Off to Christmas! (2013)
Mediocre Hallmark
I was a reluctant Hallmark holiday movie watcher until I could see the joy in a repetition...a gazebo...a snowstorm...a miscommunication...tradition...and happy resolution finding the deeper meaning. My favorites are when the couples seem like they really like each other and you can play Hallmark Bingo. It took awhile to get to the Christmas part, I couldn't really play Hallmark Bingo and I wasn't sure if the couple liked each other very much.
