Fargo (1996)
Fargo is a great movie.
This film is well threaded and not many flaws are showing. Colourful characters fill the story that goes from a bad idea to worse. Greed and psychopathy do not mix well. Spellbinding! Seen three times over the years
The Color Purple (1985)
The Color Purple is breathtaking
I watched it long time ago, but today I have revisited the movie again. I must admit it is one of the best movies I have ever approached.
Sharp Objects (2018)
Amy Adam's crushes it
It is raw and real in every sense. The script is finely performed by all the ensemble, and never insults the intelligence of the viewer. It always ends with me wanting to see more. I love everything about it.
Killing Eve (2018)
A Fantastic debut
I just finished binge watching this series - I can confirm its fantastic. The show did more than I could expect from a first season. It was tense, funny?? and original, the characters were very clever, quirky and overall compelling (even the assassin, yes). My only complaint I wish it was a miniseries, hope they can keep the quality in a second season.
Wanderlust (2018)
Toni Collette nails every part of it
It's a good series, good performances and everything. But there is still room for improvement in a possible second season.
Toni Collette shows that she is an excellent actress, as always giving a show.
America to Me (2018)
Touching Documentary
The series is the best depiction I have ever seen of what it actually looks and feels like to be in high school, doing what Eighth Grade did for the middle school experience except with people's real lives. You get drawn into the kids lives and hooked on seeing how their choir audition is going to go or what's gonna happen.
Homecoming (2018)
Very well written and acted.
It is beautifully filmed, directed, acted, paced and structured. A measured drama with a sparse deck of actors that delights with the layered but surprisingly neat story line. Julia Roberts is a revelation but some of the shots you will want to freeze frame or replay just for the visual feast that is Esmail's direction. Lots of delicious hidden motives and cross referencing. Enjoy and relish.
Bodyguard (2018)
Oh well
Seemed interesting but became kind of convulated after the 3 episode! They're banging but he doesn't believe in her policies and she's corrupt?, and he is also spying on her but then they kill her, and what!!!. Ok bodyguard Ok.
