Irresponsible Word Salad Practices
14 June 2021
So a good (not great) show feels it has to dictate and lecture it's audience on racism, prejudice and profiling? Don't you realise " patient profiling" is a necessary part of the diagnostic process? If not, why bother with research, funding for "at risk" groups, and even education? And Lim suggesting DrGlassman has not been prejudiced against because he is a white man is laughable. He was kicked out for supporting someone who was different. And why are we now left with the most annoying and unlikable ever characters as 1st year residents? Not one of them does anything to warrant any admiration from us. This season really sucks. Losing Melendez was the biggest mistake the producers ever made.

Main character ruins the show.
30 March 2021
Up to episode 8. I'm a sucker for punishment. Nothing whatsoever attractive about Ginny. I don't think I've seen a more annoying character, or terrible actress. Very unlikeable and quite frankly the show would be 100% better off without her.. Also Georgia should lay off the eyebrow crayons. The younger Georgia and Zion are fantastic. Actually the show would be a whole lot better without Ginny & Georgia.

Superficial and Tasteless
20 February 2021
No mention of love or sacrifice ... Just a vulgar display of excess wealth in a never-ending and thoroughly meaningless parade of gaudiness. I don't think India learned anything from Mother Theresa.

A Gift to Watch

This is a great movie. The 4 lead men gave powerful and memorable performances. I have been thinking about the movie for 2 days - so impressed by these amazing actors. It's dark and it's intense. I love the performance of Jeremy Strong as Dale. A moving and beautiful film. One of my favourites.

Boring, talentless George
3 January 2021
Did someone say that George Clooney had talent? Big mistake. I think rather it was brilliant scripts, good direction and the efforts of talented fellow cast members. George is a bore. His acting is boring. His directing is boring. I watched 30 mins of this tedium and had to pull the plug. No more second chances George. You are a yesterday's man.

Powerful and Timely
6 December 2020
I was 16 when Diana was married, too young to appreciate just how very young she was also. Revisiting her story really tugs at your heart, and coming hot off the heels from watching The Crown just reaffirms why Charles should never be King. I believe William and Kate are currently the only decent ones capable of taking over when HM shuffles off.

Schmidt 10, Nick 8, Winston 6, CeCe 7, Jess 4
4 December 2020
The series after season 2 was basically carried by Schmidt and Nick and to a lesser extent Winston and CeCe. Jess became an annoying side part who at times seemed to put little effort into her performance. I loved it though. Max Greenfield is a fantastic actor.

Colman did a Crap Job
1 December 2020
Sorry to say but Olivia Colman shot the role of a lifetime to pieces with her incredibly 2dimensional and clunky acting as Elizabeth II. She looked like a deer in the headlights and fretted constantly.... about everything. Her voice was monotone, lifeless and grating. Look at footage of the real Queen at this time. She is personable, relaxed, pleasant. Coleman's Elizabeth is none of that. So disappointed with her performance and it just let the season down. They really should have just kept the original actress. Helena Bonham Carter acted well, but really seemed a tad too over the top for Margaret. The actress who portrayed Diana didn't hold a candle to the real Diana, but frankly who could? Prince Philip was a great choice. Prince Charles was weirdly portrayed as more sappy than the real version. The Queen Mother was superb. Margaret Thatcher I thought was more a caricature of the Iron Lady.

Emily bores in Paris
10 October 2020
Binge watched the whole 1st season. It was pretty awful. Lily Collins is a b grade actress at best - too much eye rolling and her character is very 2 dimensional. And every man she meets instantly falls in love with her (or so she thinks). As my husband described her ... she's just annoying. The costars are much better actors. The plot is suited to Mills and Boone novel. I'd give it a 2 stars (mainly for the nice scenery).

Yes and No
9 October 2020
First the positives - good to see the cast back together. And new additions were great (apart from Deniro). It's been a long time. And, yes, it was just a quickie Flic done to support a charity .... fantastic. And we really appreciate the restrictions and mammoth difficulty in shooting during covid19. Well done to push out anything at this point. But.... It just seemed to be a waste of a great plot for what could have been a much better movie. Matty getting married could have been a superb. George at his eccentric best as NOT the father of the bride. Frank doing his best Frank. More depth, more story. Like 2020 has been a disappointment to put it mildly. And the casting of Robert Deniro was not good. He seemed bored. And he's already part of the "Meet the parents" franchise, so a weird addition. An actor like Samuel L. Jackson would be superb. Aim higher next time.

Lazy Directing. Sloppy Witing.
8 May 2020
I don't think I've ever watched a show where I've disliked Every. Single. Character. It's tedious and predictable. I got through season 1. Season 2 they seem to run out of ideas .... every scene ends with an org.sm. Very lazy directing, terribly sloppy writing. I just got bored.

Pretentious piece of crap
14 March 2020
It started off okay but descended into a mind boggling jumble of nonsense and narcissism. Does Zach Braff honestly believe he is that interesting? He's not. Does Kate Hudson believe that nipple shots and a bare midriff can replace acting ability? No, they can't. The movie is indulgent, boring and meaningless crap. I'll never watch another Zach Braff film if this is his standard. It goes a long way at explaining why 45 yr old Braff is dating a 24 yr old. He is not mature enough for women his own age.

Embarrassingly Bad

This was as bad as Wine Country. Please stop insulting us with these "middle-aged women on girls weekends" movies. They are not funny, they are not smart, and they are not entertaining.

A Good Binge Watch
27 February 2020
I'm kind of embarrassed to say I loved this. I think I wanted to cry a little though in the last episode. Some true shocks. I think the experience would have been better if they'd allowed at least 4-6 months before the weddings. Just too rushed, and overwhelming for the participants. I hope they're all doing okay now.

Crapfest

20 mins. The only reason I'd continue would be to watch the brilliant Jim Gaffigan, but even he can't make me want to watch another minute of this utter boring crap. Alec Balwin is past his prime (if he ever had one). And whoever thought Salma Hayek could act needs their head read.

If it ain't broke.... don't fix it
28 December 2019
What a disaster. An excruciating f#ck cluster remake of the superb comedic classic, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, starring the brilliant Steve Martin and timeless Michael Caine. Just to confirm, as an Australian, we do not find Rebel Wilson funny.... or talented. No idea how or why she has made it in Hollywood. And Anne Hathaway... another try hard attempt at comedy. Stick to drama sweetheart.

Would have been better if they stuck to the facts
18 October 2019
Although this dragged on and on for most of the movie, the addition of the totally OTT fictitious rescue chase scene at the end, pushed this film into the ridiculous. On top of that, the portrayal as the mother as the new "heir" was just so stùpid, and further pushed this into unrealistic and simplistic happily ever after stories.

Oceans Meh
20 July 2019
We had 2 tiny laughs the entire movie. We found this boring, predictable and uninteresting. The plot was not at all believable. The script tried too hard to replicate Oceans 11 but failed. The characters - shallow and unlikable.

You'll Love It or Hate It but That's ok...
12 July 2019
Was looking forward to watching a comedy and this little gem played out well. Not classic comedy, and very slow, but I thought this was just brilliant in it's simplicity. The mundane little man, fretting over his mundane little life was reminiscent of Woody Allen. Absurd yet believable. Brad was not a very likeable character, and the son is amazingly tolerant of him. Good casting. Love the music score ... so depressing, lol. A good show. Would watch again.

Flat. Unfunny. Irrelevant.
2 July 2019
Watched half the show. Had to switch off. Katherine just wasn't funny. I didn't laugh once, and I love comedy. It was flat and repetitive. The act just didn't seem to bring in the audience. It was way too vulgar at times for no reason whatsoever. Perhaps she's trying to be the new Rita Rudnar. I don't know, but I do think Katherine needs learn how to grab the audience the way Rita can. Lose the vulgar language for starters. It doesn't work here. Be sophisticated. Be classy. Don't talk down to men ... talk to them. It may improve.

So boring
18 June 2019
So glad I didn't waste money at the cinema on this one. I was looking forward to a cleverly written, brilliantly acted, and witty romcom. Instead it dragged through endless scenes of bad acting from Asian Ken doll Nick, and permanent sad face from sullen, cross-eyed Rachel. Not once funny. Just slow, predictable, and boring.

Wonderfully Funny
31 May 2019
We really enjoyed this. Some great moments of pure awkwardness had us in stitches. Loved Randall Park and Ali Wong. They play off each other very well. Really great characters throughout the whole movie. The young kids were adorable. Keanu Reeves plays himself to perfection. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable show.

Unfunny and Predictable
12 May 2019
Just flat from the start. The actresses seemed to only give minimal effort. Many pointless aspects about the whole story. What was the reason for "the guy who came with the house"? Whatever happened to the paella (which was probably the most anticipated part of this very predictable movie).
