The Lobster (2015)
This should be considered philosophical sc-fi
They aren't humane; they're not from Earth. They may resemble us, but they aren't us. We have sick people, but in their world, everyone is 'sick'-normal by their standards, sick by ours. To them, the old lady is the one who's ill, shunned by all. She wants to connect with people she can't relate to, which, in their world, is considered sick. She cares for dogs excessively, and she'd rather end her life than join another cult or become an animal. She's desperate, unlike the blonde girl with the nice hair. I love how our protagonist is also 'sick,' just as in our world, the protagonist is usually the 'normal' one.
This makes me wonder if the people we consider sick here might actually be the normal ones, and we are the sick ones, imposing our morals on them.
Get Out (2017)
I hate horror but this...
I hate horror movies never watched them unless they have a top tier twist I need to watch the whole movie to see it revealed even so with this twist horror movies I treat them like sci-fi and stuff never treating them like horror cause I never get scared from ghosts/aliens/zombies/scary nun with white and black makeup/tall serial killer who can catch up with his fully bumped with adrenaline victims by walking... why? I'm a brave guy, yes but no, it's just those movies speak about things doesn't exist in our world which makes them scary'less (I hate magicians for the same reason, but that's not our topic) I do get jumbscared from time to time, but it's never "scared" it's just caught surprised.
With that said, this is the first movie to ever make my heart beat scared for the protagonist.
Love, Death & Robots: Alternate Histories (2019)
the whole thing feels like a demo
This episode/short have cool concept that could be quite entertaining as a show, I can already imagine 15 seasons out of this...nonetheless this episode don't do the concept its justice. I want to see Nazis adopting Islam and stuff, this just make me hungry for more.
This Is the Police (2016)
philosophical fun, with rpg elements
Shows how hard it is to be good in a bad world.
Also, what I like and hate the most is the choices, I like them cause they were unnecessary but fun addition and I hate them cause they didn't influence the story that much, but I forgive it cause as I said they were unnecessary.
Diabolical: I'm Your Pusher (2022)
wish amazon make more of these
This episode shows the real horror of having all powerful human beings with next to nothing morals, while also showing what brave regular people can achieve.
Spree (2020)
It's been a long time since I enjoyed horror movie
*Good acting specially the two main characters
*the chat really add-up to the movie
*him lying about his mom was great and unpredictable
genuinely this movie is the future of movies I LOVE IT!
Kick-Ass (2010)
The movie looks childish but his not
One thing I've liked about the movie is dead means nothing.
Dave Lizewski mom died in front of him and his dad no one makes a move
a little girl kill with no sympathy O.K in this world
superhero tortured and his friend Todd happy cause a girl hugging him
Hit-Girl dad died, no tears from his daughter
Other than that the movie sucks.
Ramy: Saving Mikaela (2019)
Yo wtf he sell drinks and judge the man for drinking it
In Islam selling drinks way too worse than drinking it cause every person drinks bottle of yours count you drink it and that's a lot.
Upload: Shopping Other Digital After-Lives (2020)
Romantic episode
This episode is my favorite the relationship between the protagonist and his angel became more clear, actors did a great job.
El hoyo (2019)
My favorite sc-fi in this look down
+Great story with better production.
+There's no better ending than the ending they do.
+The only thing I don't get it is why Miharu think of saving food from the table for her and her daughter, so they can claim to up she's a warrior she can make it.
Downsizing (2017)
Wholesome 10/10
Regardless of other aspects.
The moral aspect of the movie is a breathtaking and wonderful character of Paul who has warmed my heart I think I want to be like him in the moral aspect not only he but all the main characters.
Slender Man (2018)
Unable to terrify a fly
When I heard the film crew's words about it and their psyche after working on the film, I thought the film was so terrifying that it affected the psyche of the actors. It turned out that the whole thing is a lie.
How the hero of the movie went to slender man, saying Take me and run away is pure cringe.
Kingdom (2019)
This is the kind of stuff I like
I hope Netflix do more Family friendly series that I can enjoy with my family and have a great production.
