The void of Chadwick Boseman is too much to overcome. It was not a great movie, it was not a good movie, it was decent and the storyline didnt add up. I really wanted to like this movie but I didn't. The best part of this movie were the trailers that were released a few months before the movie. Namor's character dominated the show and his presence made it watchable. He had charm, leadership and the best for his people. His story deserves a movie more than anything. Maybe it was a rush job to complete this movie and rewriting an entire script on short notice had an effect on the outcome. Great wardrobe, pretty good special effects but all in all I was disappointed.

I thought this movie was awful all the way around. Terrible writing, predictable plot, the acting of Meagan Good was terrible but some of that was due to the way her character was written. Overall it just didn't work for me at all. Two good points of the movie was Dennis Quaid and the overall scenery on the movie.

I'll keep this short, it's a great movie that reminds us that nothing much has changed in the good old USA when it comes to race and relations. Spike and crew did a fabulous job bringing the story home and the up to date ending should be felt by any decent human being.
