Disappointing Film Experience - Don't waste your time!
At first, I was quite excited to watch this movie, especially because I admire both actresses - Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman. However, the experience turned out to be quite disappointing. The use of tense music in certain scenes felt completely out of place. For example, when Julianne Moore opens the fridge, the camera zooms in on her, and there's cliffhanger music playing as if the revelation is significant, but it turns out to be something trivial like not having enough sausages for a barbecue - it felt rather ridiculous.
As for the acting, it was cringe-worthy to see Natalie Portman portraying Elizabeth. Her attempt to imitate Gracie with a fake accent doesn't come across well, making it difficult to believe she is genuinely embodying the character. The film lacks direction and fails to engage the audience. It was a painful experience overall.
I was initially impressed by their Oscar nominations, but upon reflection, it's a reminder that we shouldn't expect too much from awards like the Oscars, which can sometimes be just as ridiculous as this movie.
À l'intérieur (2007)
Gore's fans are gonna love it!
Lots of blood and torture, but with a good story behind it in my opinion. There was only one mistake that really bothered me: Sarah had a gun with her in the bedroom at the end, WHY THE HELL she just bit the crazy killer??? Didn't get it.
The Godfather (1972)
Overrated.
I truly don't get why people idolize it so much. A great movie? Yes. The best of all times? Never.
Kol (2020)
What a movie!
Amazing plot, korean movies are the best in the world. A tip: stop watching when it just ends, don't wait for the credits.
Unsane (2018)
Ridiculous.
I don't understand the good rate, the plot is poor and the situations are just absurd. Don't waste your time.
Servant (2019)
Awesome psychological thriller!
Very good acting, no cheap jumps and a super well-constructed story. Don't trust the bad score, just go for it and you won't be disappointed.
The Stranger (2020)
Such a waste of time.
It starts well, really intriguing, but the ending is VERY bad. It is simply not worth watching.
Dirty John (2018)
Really liked it.
Saw it in two days. I think the bad score goes because people get very very angry at how stupid Debra was.
The Isle (2018)
Terrible.
Such a waste of time. The beggining of the film seems to be interesting and intriguing, but it get lost very very fast. The story is just nonsense.
