Time to Hunt (2020)

It gives you the thrill, but storyline-wise, hm...
18 June 2020
It is a star-studded movie. With actors like Lee Je-hoon, Ahn Jae-hong, Choi Woo-sik, and Park Hae-soo. Park Hae-soo's character is so different from the drama he starred in that I watch long ago (Prison Playbook), showing how great he is at acting.

If you have anxiety, I don't recommend watching this movie cause it might cause an episode, depending on how severe it is. I get the thrill from this movie that I even feel scared for the escapees.

Cinematography is great. I really like the colors and angles chosen. However, for storyline-wise, it's not what I am expecting as it's a dystopian movie.

Forgotten: Mindblowing plot that twist your mind!
18 June 2020
If you like movies like The Others (Nicole Kidman), this movie is really recommended for you!

I'm gonna tell you that this movie can play with your emotion and mind. You don't know what you're gonna see at the end of the movie. This is one of the best Korean thriller movie that I've ever watch. The suspense really burst out from the characters, complimented by the camera movement, sound effect and background music.

This movie is a Netflix original, so go watch it if you haven't. I can guarantee you will never expect what comes next. It's very well-written and well-directed.

Great cinematography!

If you like to watch movie in 1900s, this is one of the movies you should watch. The movie set brings you back to Japanese colonialism era in Korea. The characters also spark their own personality throughout the movie. I love this movie because of the cinematography as well. This movie has a good plot. However, you might need to focus to watch this as it can be quite confusing in the beginning.

Man, this movie is way too interesting!

I love the whole movie, including the cinematography as well. It depicts what the director and writers wants to convey. In all aspects, all I can say is I'm very impressed. The beautiful architecture of the house plays a big part in telling the story of the movie too.

This movie also talks about the rich and the poor in Korea. It tells you how different their life could be, and how it affects one's personality. The characters are interesting too. It brings out the mysterious side of the movie. When I finished watching, I can't just say it's a movie of one genre.

You should watch this to understand what I meant. Go go!

One of the Best Musical Movies Ever
29 April 2018
This movie is way greater than I thought it'd be. I like the storyline, the songs, and the dance. Their performance made me had a goosebumps while watching. It entices you to watch till the end without blinking an eye. The moral value they put in will make you realize something too.

I even did a reading on the movie, which is actually inspired from a true event. Not sure if it's entirely or only partly similar, but it was a good movie to watch ! It's worth your time, especially if you like musical movies :)

The Novel is Better
29 April 2018
I read the novel before watching this movie. The scenes were actually well-captured, but the main lead actress' acting is not convincing enough for me. I can see how stiff the acting is, and sometimes the way she talks. There were some funny scenes to melt the ice, at least.

I read the novel 3 times and I still get the same feeling every time I read it. I don't know if it's just me, but I prefer the novel more than the movie.

Not as Good as Expected
29 April 2018
I watched this movie based on the recommendation of some people who said it's good. But when I watch, I get bored instead, wishing for the movie to end faster.

I can't really get the emotion of the actors because of the camera angle used during dialogue. It was supposed to be an intimate and touching dialogue, but the view was of the tree and sky, instead of the close up of the actors. I felt like it's such a waste. Audience could've got a better engagement with the movie if the scenes show a proper angle especially during dialogue.

Scenes where the happiness and expression of the actors should've been shown, wasn't shown. Instead, they showed an aerial shot or some other wide shot.

Some other scenes were too lengthy, and it was unnecessary long and draggy.
