Doctor Who: The Woman Who Fell to Earth (2018) Season 11, Episode 1

A decent start but still cautious

One thing I will say about the start of the new era of Doctor Who is that its clear the writers are going in a VERY different direction. For the most part it went pretty well. IT wasn't a blow your mind start but it sets the scene up nicely. It had good suspense, character building and Jodie Whitaker has a nice take on the doctor. A decent start but hoping for better to come.

Really good but they left out something

Everything about this episode was great except one huge thing. WHAT WAS ON DANNY PINKS BED?! It's never answered and it annoys me. But looking past that it's a good episode

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

A very good film, but not perfect

There were a lot of great things about this film, Thanos being the highlight of the film, but still it did feel a little crammed at times. Some things about this film were overdramatised And it felt at times there was too much going on.

Saying that though on a pure enjoyment and plot scale this film does almost everything right. It was not predictable which meant there was genuine surprise for the plot twists. Overall Marvel have done a good job with this movie bar a few details but still a great movie overall.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

Flawless

Everything in this film from its music to set design is magnificent. After watching this along with the other films you can't help but not think of middle earth in all its glory for the next few days . It really encapsulates everything great about fantasy movies. Not to mention the incredible acting and dialogue! Just all round spectacular

Lost in Space (2018–2021)

The best rebooted series in a LONG time

Often when a film or series is rebooted it never quite lives up to the original. But this series is almost perfect for me and to my surprise has one of the best villains on the small screen! It's captivating, emotional, great science and characters and the scenery is amazing. A great mixture of drama and science fiction. Best show of 2018 thus far! Fully recommend
