Connect (2022)

Average but good!

The story is about a man who is immortal (which is called connect in this drama). Once he caught the eye of organ traffickers and they removes his eyes and started to collect other organs of his body.

As we already know, he is immortal, he escaped the scene. However, he left one of his eyes. He begins having a vision of someone. But,he didn't know who the person is. Moreover, the person whose vision, he is having, a corpse artist (serial killer). Will he able to find the killer and get his eye back?

The story is kind of different that's why I loved it. It's a short and can be binged within one day.

Baby and I (2008)

Don't waste time

This movie did not live up to expectations at all. I have seen many movies like this before where mom planned to drop the child to it's father house. And every movie had the same stuff like: baby diapers, feeding milk, temper tantrums, going out to find the baby's mother, etc. This movie is a bit of an exception in this respect, it's about a high school boy who is 18 years old and he is the father. That's sounds funny. Although I liked the first part of the movie but he later parts felt a bit cheesy. Most importantly, there was no need to show such irrelevant things in the last scene, that's the worst part of it. If you watch it with high expectations, the movie will disappoint you.

Arang (2006)

Loved it

The movie starts with an ex-convict found to be dead after releasing from jail. However, the reason for his dead isn't confirmed yet. Forensics couldn't find anything rather it seems to like an Heart Attack. Then his friends are also getting murdered / dead for unknown reasons. Besides that all of them received an email containing a video. The video is sent from a website which was once owned by a girl. Here is the thing, the girl have been missing for 9 years and assumed to be dead by now. But every one of them seen the ghost of that girl! Is she dead and taking revenge? Revenge for what? If not then what's happening here?

Ending was really good. I didn't see that coming. Worth watching for me.

Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River (2016)

Mediocre

This movie is funny and enjoyable for sometime. But,this movie hasn't much to offer, I mean, the story is pretty guessable. And watching the same thing happening again made it boring (I can't say, I was bored but the story was repeating). The same tactics, methods! Though Disguising as a woman was my favourite as he looked pretty. 1 hours and 30 minutes were dragging and it's about stealing and the last one was good, again, it was about stealing but this time the techniques are good. I wanted to see chemistry between Seo Yea Ji and Yo Seung ho but the director only focused on highlighting stealing, none of the characters are developed or their relations are highlighten.

Overall, It's an one time watch movie. There isn't much story but it's enjoyable.

Enola Holmes 2 (2022)

Disappointed

I waited for this movie for long and this is not what I expected to be. This is just too ordinary. First one is funny, addictive, and the case is good too. I found it quite same as first one but the comedic charm is missing. It is just a big disappointment for me. Even the chemistry between Enola and her lover isn't shown that way. This is just a messed up.

This movie is nothing like first one. These who fall in love with first one and came to watch it, will be highly disappointed.

I won't recommended this to 'Enola Holmes' lovers. Just be happy with first one and don't regret or get disappointment watching this.

Monica, O My Darling (2022)

Give it a try

This movie is unexpectedly good. I'm usually into bollywood movies because of it's poor script. However, it's really good. At first it' seems normal to me, nothing unusual (3 guys are planning to kill a lady named Monica). But, soon their planned turned out to be a complete failure as Monica is alive and roaming around them. Here's another thing, their one of the guys is murdered. Then, another guy got killed. Is Monica is behind all these murders?

It's funny, their acting is on point. Had a great time watching it and totally loved it. And didn't expect to see that type of twist is coming . So,it's a worth watch movie for me.

Little Women (2022)

Just watch another drama

Finally I watched after reading so many positive reviews. But, it turned out to be a boring and with lots of plot holes drama. I never felt so bored while watching any Korean drama, this is the first time, I felt like dropping it as I couldn't take more. Story seems interesting at first but it became worse over time. I'm just irritated to watch the dramas and foolishness of three sisters specially the elder one. She really pissed me off and I'm just tired of watching her playing same role again and again (miserable, poor,sad) . I thought, maybe at the end she would do something, something like bold! But, no,there wasn't. And the flower Orchid and bla bla, organisation and all flew over my head. I just somehow finished the drama that's it.

Innocence (2020)

Amazingly good

The story is about an old woman and her autistic son who are accused of poisoning 4 people on a funeral. Soon they are taken into custody.

Ahn Jung In who is her daughter lives apart from them came to know about this situation who is procecuter herself. She tries to reveal the truth as everything seems framed to her. How can a woman with dymensia and an autistic boy try to poison someone?

Besides,this everyone in the village shows hostility to her and restricting her to uncover truth. What's actually going on this village? Will she able to find the motive of the villagers? Are her mother and brother truly innocent?

This movie is just awesome. After a long time, I found a decent movie to watch and thoroughly enjoyed it from starting till ending. And the twist at the end was unbelievable .

Hellhole (2022)

Don't waste your time

Everything is going well until the end ruins it. From starting to ending, it makes us believe that it all about frauds who are doing business through this killing woman without any reasons and at last what happened? This!! I was so invested til end, I was hoping, the police officer would disclose everyone. But, not he turned into Saytan! What is this?

I don't know these days, why ending are so bad!

I was enjoying this though I thought, it was a ghost movie but it wasn't still I was enjoying, it was giving me thrills. But,ending is so awful.

I won't recommend this to anyone as starting will raise your expectations and ending will ruin it :)

Causeway (2022)

Super boring

The story is about a solider who is going through post trauma after a explosion. The movie shows how she deals with it. However, I didn't find any thing rather than this. All Jennifer does in this movie, is to clean pools. She made a friend with she hangs out at evening that's it. If anyone looks for story in this movie, she/he will be highly disappointed as it doesn't have one. I can even blame Jennifer for that she did amazing but the story is missing. There is actually nothing.

For me, the movie is super boring. 1.3hours seems a day to me while watching this. I don't know what the director was thinking while writing this .

Drag Me to Hell (2009)

Save your time and don't watch this

The movie is kind of difficult to watch for it's creepiness. Besides,story is predictable.

I have a problem with the main female lead nature, sometimes,she pretends like she isn't afraid of anything (Digging corpse out) and sometimes, she pretends, she is an animal lover yet she killed her cat. She doesn't even look sad, and didn't regret for what she did. But,she cares about goat xD What's wrong with this story? A person can be cursed so easily, she/he can be pulled to hell and bla bla.

Yeah, it had jump scares which made it watchable as a horror movie rather than that this movie just creeps me out whole time.

Smile (V) (2022)

Suspenseful enough but ending was unsatisfactory

This movie just gave me hell of a ride the whole time. All I can say is Amazing . It was suspenseful, thrilling. Like Rose, I was kind of digging too. I was eager to know what's happening around her. Was it just her hallucinations or real? She is also a therapist, so seeing her getting through this makes me wonder how she is going to deal with this.

Though it looked like hallucination at first but it doesn't seem to be hallucination at last. Then what's this? Around 20 people have gone through same situation and the pattern they followed is same too. So,what's really going on?

Is really a curse which is passing from person to person??

It was really good but ending is juat unsatisfactory to me. I really wanted to know how it all starts. But,it ends without any answer.

Fall (I) (2022)

It's kind of good

I loved this movie to some extend. After a long time, I watched a survival movie so it's good for me. I can't say, it's best but I enjoyed it and definitely enjoyable and thrilling. It kept me guessing how they gonna tackle this situation . I just wanted to see more innovation or creative techniques of their survival, but sadly it lacks. Ending could have been much better .

I don't know, at the end it felt like Becky did it intentionally, I mean,push or droopped her. I was looking for more twists. Sadly, it hasn't many -_- However, besides this, it's good to go and worth to spend some time on it.

The Good Nurse (2022)

I can't believe, I just wasted my time on this. I quickly picked it up as soon as I heard it's based on true story. However,after watching for an hour , I even didn't find anything interesting. No suspense at all. It's a boring movie, needed a lot of patience to finish it within one day. It's about serial killing but the male nurse seems clam til the end, kind of felt odd. Moreover,there is no reason of his killing. At least there should be back a story or something. No character development, just nothing! Kind of placed these characters at hospital that's it.

Uff I just wasted my time, can't even recommend this to anyone.

Alienoid (2022)

Storylines of Past-Present-Future robot, alien, human bla bla . Actually the director didn't miss anything,put everything into this and made linsey-woolsey. There weren't anything that seems to me interesting rather felt like clumsy. Why do the director had to put all these concept together? I really wanted to like and to enjoy it because of it's casts . I was kind of eagerly waiting for this movie to release. And now that I watched it, I'm having huge disappointment.

Literally bored me badly, sometimes made me confused . However, watched it for 2 hours + but won't recommend this to anyone :)

Seoul Vibe (2022)

Not worth it

I feel like watching a movie of Hollywood (fast and furious). I'm annoyed for all the racing and bla bla. Criminals are offered to free themselves from all allegations if they expose the money launders. Of course, they worked with launderous and the annoying racing for delivering things. We already know, it won't go so smoothly so they caught up and the story goes on again racing xD. They fought and exposed them. That's the end of the story.

What's the point of this movie? We have already, watched this type of in Hollywood with the exact storyline. For me, it was wasting my 2hours +. I won't recommend this to anyone.

Black Bird (2022)

Don't get carried away by it's rattings

This series is based on true event, I found this out at the end of the series. But to be honest, I really didn't like this. The series is short having only 6 episodes, still it's lengthy. Unnecessary dragging and all. Actually, the series didn't have much to offer or could not prestente the story well.

The story is something like, a drug dealer Jimmy, he is sentenced for 10 years. He gets an offer, if he can get the truth out of Larry, all his sentences will be forgiven. But, Larry is a serial killer, he mainly kills children. So, dealing with him will be risky work. Besides, his job is to find out where he hid their bodies after killing them. Will he able to do this?

The story was very simple, I did not find anything new. Larry's constant talking to annoyed me. There was no suspense, no thrill.

Why did I even watch it?

If like serial killer drama then go for it

I'm actually quite fond of serial killing dramas. When it comes to real incident or real serial killers, my excitement gets higher. This drama highlights the notorious serial killers of korean history and also a new department of police named "Behaviour Analysis ''.

The behaviour Analysis department members who are called profilers, analyze serial killer behaviour that helps to narrow down the suspect list and helps to catch the serial killers.

There are 5 serial killers through out the whole drama. These are red cap serial killer, butcher serial killer,elderly couple serial killer, random serial killer,car serial killer.

Each story is interesting but I'm shocked to learn how these killers thinks. They do it for their enjoyment. I know,it's a drama but still it's based on true events.

If I talk about the drama then I have to say, it was very intense which was a cause of irritation at times. Drama could have tried to show everything in a different way, could have add some spices. Even 12 episodes seems too much to me. I watched this drama in 10 days, I could not take these seriousness. Too much seriousness was a source of irritation.

What's wrong the ending?

This movie actually doesn't make sense to some extend. I like the concept, acting but if I gonna look for logics, it doesn't have. How can a paralysed person can do this all his own? He murdered two people still no one has any clue. No one is looking for them?

And the person who helped to dispose the old man's body who is he?? The movie even didn't clarify that. I thought, at least it would have a decent ending! But,what is this? Why his girlfriend is taking him in?

Why the police isn't arresting anyone? Angel kept captivate her for so long, also killed her lover, her unborn baby's father, still she didn't said anything to police. On the other hand Angel fall from such a height, yet no one questioned her how he did fall?

For the first time, I wanted if the movie was bit longer, I would have gotten my answers, it could be ended brilliantly. It has a pretty good start, splendid concept . But, didn't think it would end this way.

Retribution (2015)

Suspenseful

I watched Korean movie 'Hard hit' a few days ago that time I had no clue, that it's actually remake. I enjoyed that movie wasn't bad and today I surprisingly came across the original one, it's good too. Story remains same, Korean version didn't changed anything. But, original remains original and it's acting is far better than korean version, kind of realistic.

It's a really amazing thrilling movie. The whole movie is in a car yet it was enjoyable and kept the suspense til end.

John Luther (2022)

Good enough

The story is about a bike accident which later leads to missing person case. While investigating, more missing cases came into light. The police officer who is in charge however, looses his hearing power in a fighting. Will he able to find the person behind?

I loved the movie, however, one thing that irritates me the whole time is, the hearing problem thing. If it wasn't included, it would be more enjoyable. The story itself is pretty good so there wasn't any necessity of introducing hearing problem concept.

Heaven (I) (2022)

Pretty good crime thriller

The story is about an honest and dedicated police officer who is accused of murder recently .

Few days ago, a robbery took place at Mattew's house and the robbers killed the whole family. However, the police son is happend to be that house at that time when it happened. He is murdered too. He set out on a unofficial mission to find culprits and finny found them.

Some days passed, a businessman is murdered and the police officer's footprints and car is seen at that place.

His son's murdered is found then why he did that? What is his motive behind? Is he somehow connected to the murder??

This is pretty awesome. If I write more about it, I might be giving spoilers. It's a must watch movie. After Ratsasan, it's my fav right now. It Kept me edge of seat whole time. It's filled with twists and turns. It's back stories and connections just astonished me. It's so well written . One thing that I didn't like in this movie is the female police officer dressup, I didn't get why she had to dressup like this. Besides that it's worth watching movie. I hope, anyone won't regret watching this.

The Sandman (2022– )

Had a good start but ended up so badly

The story is quite compelling and enjoyable at first ( Dream lord quest for his tools). Then the vortex and bla bla ruins it. Maybe, it would be better if it had only 5 episodes. I loved up to 5 episodes,it was consistent, compelling and beautiful.

However, it was dragged so much that it ended up having 10 episodes which are just awful. Besides, I'm just shocked to see lucifer as a lady as well as so weak.

Wow, this is terrifying

This movie has everything, amazing story, scary moments which anyone wants in Horror movie. It's comparable to Conjuring and Nun. It has more scary moments than both of them. Being a fan of Conjuring and Nun horror movies, whatever, I watched it won't satisfied my expectations as it's hard to find a decent horror movie with good storyline. Actually,all horror movies are same, the same haunted house story or a person being possessed. However, this story is so broad. It not only has several scary moments but also has some mysteries too. This is just wholesome, that's I really wanted in a horror movie. Perfection!!
