DarkWolf (2003)
Mustah been filmed in grade school
The special affects of the werewolf in computer animation were shockingly terrible. You know when the singer gets on X factor and embarrasses everyone including their pet cat? Same thing. That poor, it should not have been put out for the public.
The Legend of Dog Lady Island (2020)
Horrible
The acting is terrible, the sound is wal mart, and the costumes are Party City. The guns they used in the fight were clearly unmistakable plastic toys firing caps and the wigs were dollar store, as were the uniforms.
Skunk pee does not stink this bad.
T-34 (2018)
Very unique style of film.
Doing the film in riussian made it more realistic rather than just using accents. the tank scenes were illustrative of how war would really be rather than the watered down "not too much gore" routine of so many civil war movies.
It displayed the harsh horror sof combat and the courage of the men involved. Great movie.
Bumblebee (2018)
Great movie for my newyear party
I enjoyed it all, the acting, the action and really loved the VW beetle angle. It was a great film and I want a copy to see it again.
Mandy the Doll (2018)
Now I Lame Me Down....
Good photography and editing, music often did not work with the scenes, motion of the doll ruined the creepy affect of the film. Wooden acting, and the action scenes in the end were pitiful. If it had been played in a theater it would have emptied the room in short order. Nice try on the film makers part but a very amateur film.
Hostiles (2017)
Better off just being bored
The acting, costuming and drama were good, but it was a long drawn out boring flow of scene after scene of nothing beyond men who spoke in whispers so low I could not make out anything they were saying half the time. I watched about a third of it and gave up.
The Last Gunslinger (2017)
More wood than a forest.
...meaning that the acting was not aweful, it did not exist. From the second I saw the opening scene I knew I should have bought a Pepsi rather than renting this. The acting is devoid of any drama or emotion to make it interesting, the opening scene did not lay any ground work for the film, the uniforms were so clean you could smell the detergent, the guns used in the war were sparkling, the corpse by the tree would not make it as a holloween prop in a pre school, especially since it was missing both legs and one arm, and this may cure me of renting from Red Box. I'm sorry, but there are people out there who just cant make a movie, and for crap's sake I had no idea decent acting was that hard. The shootout scene at the barn was hilarious, no wounds, no bullets hitting the barn, EMPTY GUNS, OMG SO OBVIOUS FROM THE CLOSE UPS THE GUNS HAD NO BULLETS, .....I yi yi. Ok, I'm done. Time to get something to drink and watch something else. I appreciate the film makers trying to make a film.....but please, get regular jobs. Seriously......actors also.
The Last Days of Billy the Kid (2017)
Some people should not make movies
The first few seconds of acting had me hearing "he's never acted before this is his first role". The shootout at the front was so obviously done with black powder blanks it sounded like kids with cap gun on the play ground. Lamest acting in the business, truly. The scene where the guy approaches the cabin has a backing track that sounds like a skillsaw being drawn across a Cadillac grille it is so horrid. Terrible acting, OMG. Imagine a robot "we-have-been-robbed (bleeeeeeep) o-mi god."
This movie looks like something someone got together with their friends on the weekend, got a camera from Amazon, some snacks and drinks...........???????
BorderCross (2017)
Some beginner actors and writers do better.
I've done some film work myself and I can tell weak, reading off of the script, ahem, "my character says this" acting from being into it and committed to the character. The boy is unconvincing and wooden and the fight scenes look like a class in acting school. When the lead actor fights the bald guy he stands like he is waiting patiently to be punched. I'm glad I got it from red Box because in the theater it would have been time to go get coffee. If you like student level film, it might be for you.
