Yôjinbô (1961)
A masterpiece.
The only thing that holds this movie back is the audio quality, but otherwise, this movie is important to the history of cinema worldwide. This movie has led to creations of many famous franchises such as the fistful of dollars trilogy and Star Wars. I hope Kurosawa's films explode with popularity once Visions is out.
The Luck of the Irish (2001)
A family movie
This movie is so fun and cheesy. You should watch it with a crowd or a group to get max entertainment. You'll def have a blast. Although the climax is kinda boring.
Ingrid Goes West (2017)
Great movie, but the ending didn't satisfy me.
I really liked the life Aubrey breathed into her character, she gave it all. However, throughout the movie, it is apparent that she has developed an addiction to social media (she asks where her phone is the first thing after she wakes up from her coma). By the end of the movie, you would assume this is resolved, but instead her addiction is encouraged. People try to encourage Ingrid with #IamIngrid, which is very touching, but I feel like this would only encourage Ingrid to use social media more, unless Dan helps her control her addiction. Overall I really liked where the movie was going but the ending made me very uncomfortable with the narrative encouraging Ingrid to use social media more.
The Road to El Dorado (2000)
Easily forgettable
It's so in-noteworthy that o don't remember the plot of it.
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Fine movie, fine afternoon
This movie is just fine. Not bad. But fine.
Emma waston is great as usual, but this was pretty unnecessary
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
A Disney classic
This original was such a classic, Disney just had to make a live action version.
Parks and Recreation (2009)
The best TV show I have ever seen
Good characters, interesting setting, catchy theme song with a brilliant intro, loveable cast, etc. This show is the ingredients for a fun binge watching session.
