Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
The haters still went and watched it?
So, reading the reviews on here and it is very clear that the people all moaning and complaining about various things (mostly Disney filling their pockets) all seem to have one thing in common, they contributed to it. If they didn't, how can they possibly make an informed review on the film.
It appears that rather than enjoy the series for what it is, they've let themselves get wrapped up in politics and in the process upset themselves.
I very rarely write reviews because, as you can probably tell, I'm not very good at it. However, one thing that struck me was all the hating on Disney and co making money off the back of something that clearly Lucas didn't want to have time for anymore. Disney is a business, businesses want to make money, if they don't make money, they'll go under. Why is it such a problem that a company wants to make money off of a successful franchise?
Let's get to the film. Great entertainment, great special effects, as always a pumping soundtrack that keeps everything flowing and the characters are very believable.
I'm not a hardcore star wars fan, I am however a hardcore sci-fi fan. Sometimes you need a break from the 2001's, interstellars and annihilations and enjoy some good old family viewing.
Star wars is and always will be one of the best family sci-fi stories ever put on screen. It has something for everyone and this outing doesn't disappoint.
Expect the falcon, x-wings, explosions, emotion, great back drops and some nice references to films gone by.
If the people stopped hating on the companies, relaxed, accepted that you can't always win, and took the film's for what they are, you may just enjoy them.
Star Wars has divided people for years and years but most of all, it's brought people together and created a community of people that have a passion for something love. It's never going to please everyone, but as long as star wars is around, people will be brought together because of one common love.
The force is with you, always!

Dan might have aged but the game remains ageless
20 years since it's release and this game still impresses me. It's one of those little gems that makes glad you were there to see it first time around. The visuals are great, the music is very good, the cutscenes are nice and although the voice acting is a bit 'silly', the gameplay let's that one slip by.
It's a simple premise, you control an old warrior called dan who's mission is to thwart the plans of zarok, a mean old dude who wants to cause a shed load of havoc for our hero. Along the way you fight some interesting bosses and collect some pretty cool weapons. You'll find yourself revisiting levels in order to get better loot and weapons.
On the whole it's a lovely game and one that, even in 2018, will keep you entertained and the hours will fly by.
