Murder on the Orient Express (1974)
Wonderful
How can it go wrong What a superb cast
So much better than the latest dribble.
There is so much rubbish coming out at the moment that makes me watch older films again.
Inferno (2016)
Stop comparing books with movies
I've enjoyed this movie even after three viewings
I've never read anything by Dan Brown nor would I
I am an avid reader of many many books I try not to compare
Its like watching a different story altogether
The only movie I've seen that totally followed the book
Was one day in the life of Ivan Denisovich.
The Dry (2020)
Terrible
I know it's nearly impossible for filmmakers to emulate
the book
But this was just so disappointing.
Pennyworth (2019)
Can't believe itsDC
Wonderful show great characters i normally don't like DC
But I'm now on the third viewing
I suppose a lot of people especially Americans won't understand what is going on
But I loved it.
Band of Brothers (2001)
Simply the best
Ive lost count as to how many times I've watched this fantastic series I've watched the latter series The pacific which is fine but not nearly as brilliant as this epic
Congratulations to all involved.
Papillon (2017)
1973v2017
I've read the book have seen both films admittedly decades apart
Ive enjoyed all three and always try to keep an open mind and see things in different perspective
The only book ive read that was depicted so well in a film was "one day in the life of Ivan Denisovitch"
Belle et Sébastien, l'aventure continue (2015)
Another Gem
Great landscape and again a natural film set in a time
Before I was born loved it.
