Clarkson's Farm (2021– )
9/10
Clarkson did a thing.

I binged this over two days, and i loved it. The best part was that Gerald had no subtitles, no one has a clue what he is saying.

In my country we have similar shows, but i really enjoyed watching this. I hope there's going to be a season 2.

Bumblebee (I) (2018)

Could've been better.

Warning: Spoilers
Wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't really great either. Wish it would've been a bit more serious instead of it always having to be the teenage underdog cliché, with military cliché personnel that only wants to kill and experiment on everything even tho autobots are vastly superior.

The only information Powell managed to get to Burns was they'd made a mistake and the bots where enemies, yet he just let Bumble go without any explanation as to why it saved him, who's the baddies etc. Nah, just let the super advanced robot that could potentially destroy the planet go.

And i think they forgot about the car that Charlie was fixing, because in like 10 secs, she completely overhauled it.

Besides the annoying stuff the movie wasn't bad, but could've been better.

Rarely comments on imdb, but.

Don't do this very often. But thought i'd do it for this one. Because, how is this not great? It tells you to be curious about the world, investigate, critical thinking, diversity, tolerance towards others and scientific curiosity etc. It's pretty awesome tbh. I had never heard of this, until like an hour before i saw it. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to be a romance thingie, you know, fight the bad guy to save the girl, just with yeti's in it. But it wasn't, it is more than that.

Lost in Space (2018– )
5/10
Supposely smart, yet surpricingly dumb.

I must say i like the premise, and it's visually very well made. I was really looking forward to this. But what made me stop halfway through to take a 2 week break from it was the sheer amount of stupidity. I thought the cast was fine and did a good job with what they had to work with. Had there been less stupidity in the show i think people would've liked the cast more.

Apparently in the future we develop the worst security ever since a person can, not only sneak onto a spacecraft, but also onto a space station and then further onto a colonization ship. I mean, what? And apparently in the future we don't need manifests to account for crews, so stealing another person identity is a thing. The robot is able to understand English, and synthesize "danger Will Robinson" but not any other words. Through the entire show not one tried to establish a better way of communicating with the robot.

I actually felt worse for the robot then i did any of the crew, i didn't really care if any of them died. And yet the first and highly advanced alien technology ever to be discovered is destroyed by a kid because he gave it a vague command. All they had to do was tell it "defend your self with every means necessary without killing or dismember any humans" done. But not one of these supposedly PhD smart people thought to help the kid in how to phrase his commands.

When i watch this, i often find my self rolling my eyes thinking "idiots"
