2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before
It's 2020 but still this film surprised me I was wondered how they shot it in such a unique quality in 1968 totally way head of its time probably still this film is nothing but a question which raises about mankind nature and universe.
No struggle to understand it's an art enjoy the bliss while experiencing it keep aside what he told but try to look up on what he tried to tell he's a path breaking filmmaker. It's far ahead from perfection a masterclass in filmmaking every cinephile should witness.
Vishwaroopam (2013)
This is his universal form
An International spy action thriller like never before surprised after seeing it whether it was an Indian film or Hollywood film really its standards are upto Hollywood a spectacular experience music, cinematography and performances sublime. Must watch for action thriller genre lovers.
Madeo (2009)
Totally unpredictable mystery drama!
Bong Joon Ho, the way he builds drama around a murder mystery and the way he writes characterizations is exceptionally clever. He's a mad genius. Mother is a must see for its writing and performances.
Ford v Ferrari (2019)
It was a hell of a ride!
Thoroughly enjoyed it like no other sports film. It was such a nice build up towards the ending. Bale you beauty your attitude throughout the film was kickass and film came out very well with writing, performances and background score. Definitely recommended for moviebuffs for the thrilling and touching experience. Could've caught it in theater that'd have been great but in case if it's going to re-release gonna get my ticket 💯. Gald to see it in Academy nominations it deserves all the way.
1917 (2019)

A simple plot with an impeccable storytelling and intense performances. It was a breathtaking technical achievement those long take shots, thrilling background score and flawless editing makes it an absolute immersive experience.
2 hours of an eye catching epic war drama from Sam Mendes which should be seen. This film will embrace every movie buff who are starving out there.
Mathu Vadalara (2019)
What the hell did I just saw!
One of the craziest coming of age films telugu cinema achieved towards this decade end. A fun/thrill roller coaster ride with stunning technical stuff.
I'm not leaving you an option to miss head over to the theaters before it leaves, its time 💯
The Lighthouse (2019)
Dark, bizarre & unpredictable.
Right from the beginning to the end this film kicks you into surreal experience which leaves you stirred for days, this film will totally works as psychological experience instead of a plot driven drama. If you like mystery films do check this out HD RIP is dropped out now.
The Godfather (1972)
This timeless masterpiece slowly grows on you.
I've stopped watching 4 different times after the first 30mins but later one day i've decided to finish it because I've never heard great things about a film like this then happened to watch I was totally mindblown and got to know why this film is undisputed inspiration for 100's of films even after 40years of its release. It's a character driven film more than a plot driven film that's why we feel unsettling while watching the first 1 hour but as long as you travel with the characters and their emotions you can feel the magic. Can't thank enough the cast and crew for this greatest cinematic experience, I wish every movie buff will check out this film to witness how a grand masterpiece can influence their work.
Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru (2019)
Like a cool breeze on the face after a heavy rain.
If you're more into plot driven contents or new age films then this film is definitely not for you but if you're looking for a refreshing experience or you think you can handle slow paced narratives with some feel good emotions then here's Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru playing in theaters.
Well, every film cannot be a masterpiece to pull the crowd there were also praiseworthy attempts like this, its upto you but seriously please don't blame reviews after its digital release.
Breaking Bad (2008)
A TV series ace!
This series is the pinnacle of characterizations, the way it was written, made and performed is just matchless, flawless and it's far ahead from the perfection. You just need patience upto 2 seasons and the rest is an unforgettable journey. Don't miss.
Asuran (2019)
Raw, ruthless & dark.
Vetri maaran & dhanush yes they did it again with a dark and disturbing film. You just can't compare their films with each other in their combo but each film is really uplifting the intense for every level same thing happened with asuran. Performances everyone lived their roles you just can't feel they're acting literally, where their pain becomes us, their anger takes over us. It's all about what a man can do for his family to keep them safe, technically brilliantly crafted, bgm is too good and cinematography is pure and realistic, editing is flawless, each & every department shined out well. Overall this is not a film for commercial audience definetly, purely for movie buffs and people who like dark genres.
Jallikattu (2019)
Highly recommended theater experience
Just go for the best theater you'll enjoy the technical feast like never before, I've noticed that sound was jumbled from one speaker to another speaker in clockwise and anticlockwise as well like this all over the theater sound designing was brilliant! I was amazed there was no strong plot or play yet so compelling! I'm pretty sure soon or later this dude LJP is gonna be one among greatest directors of all time! Master of chaos for a reason. Movie buffs don't miss this masterpiece!!
Ee. Ma. Yau (2018)
Lijo Jose Pellissery this dude was born in a wrong place of this world!
Had anyone ever thought of making a film on a funeral ceremony which was in turmoil? Literally no one would have unless it was LJP no words take a bow _/\_
I can see nothing other than his making as it was absolutely realistic and sublime. Performances, cinematography and bgm added more quality to the story. Highly recommended for movie buffs.
Joker (2019)
Insane af!
Brilliantly crafted and one hell of a performance it is.. Mr. Joaquin Phoenix 🙏
Phenomenal is a small word. Highly recommended for movie buffs & people who like dark genres
Midsommar (2019)
Pure traumatic art!
Fantasy at its best. A very rare kind of experience utterly I never experienced something like this. We must appreciate Mr. Ari Aster for his thought provoking surrealistic writing, no strong plot or no strong play its all just weird emotions blended art. Its definitely not everyone's cup of tea, strictly for those who like out of the box genres.
Memento (2000)
Perplexingly brilliant!
This is not an open ending film it was an open film right from the beginning because of its narrative structure it needs max rewatches to feel it's epicness I was surprised a story can also be told like this I can say it has the best writing & editing in the world cinema.
Interstellar (2014)
G. O. A. T.
Missing Interstellar in theaters is the biggest regret of my life. Classic is a small word to describe this everlasting cult. If I went to tesseract the first thing I do is to make myself experiencing Interstellar (2014) in theaters.
Dear moviebuffs, please don't miss this once in a lifetime experience, watch it without break and volume at maximum. And then thank Mr. Nolan and the whole cast & crew for their priceless work.
Pather Panchali (1955)
Beautifully crafted!
Mr. Satyajit Ray's The Apu trilogy is a journey with deep human emotions of a complete life. The first internationally acclaimed film of India. I never watched a bengali film till date all I heard is satyajit ray is legendary maker but when I checked imdb I thought I missed something being a movie buff then I started watching PATHER PANCHALI an unforgettable experience the poetic narrative adds beauty to it with its realistic making. Performances and bgm are outstanding. The Apu trilogy is highly recommended for every movie buff out there don't miss this timeless classic.
Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)
All time cult gangster film from India.
Firstly lets talk about performances every actor/actress lived their roles did 100% justification and cinematography is very natural brings us a realistic feeling while watching, music is good, an intriguing & subtle writing executed outstandingly!
This film deals with all the illegal mob businesses, vengeance & celebrations. What I like in Mr. Anurag's narrative is he just puts heavy emotions with very ease on screen but they were deep as well. I bloody fu**kin' recommend this movie for every movie buff out there.
Mulholland Dr. (2001)
Perplexingly bizarre.
I saw many weird films but only I got to know that Mr. David Lynch can make you think it was more weirder even after watching it because it was an open ending jigsaw puzzle it surprises you and makes you annoyed but wait till ending you could at least get a complete puzzle to solve. This David Lynch is definitely from somewhere a place which doesn't even exists that's how he thinks and makes a film it doesn't work for most of the people because it lacks hook point in the narrative but only if you pay attention till end you'll hook to it even after it ends that's how Mr. Lynch plays with your mind.
Don't miss it by any chance if you like out of the box genres.
Vada Chennai (2018)
The Mahabharata of gangster genres
It's a must watch when vetri maran makes a film and dhanush plays in it. A two international artists bring out there best for every attempt that's the greatness of this combination. While coming to film each and every actor justified their roles characterizations are absolutely sublime, bgm is the main asset for this film which injects the emotions directly into us, I was surprised after knowing the initial runtime of vada chennai is nearly 5 hrs that's how passionate and dedicated he is vetrimaaran sir I'm a fan. Non-linear narrative will definitely hook the audience till the end. If you are into raw & rustic crime genres vada chennai will be waiting for you.
Photograph (2019)
Pure poetic bliss
What if I say I found it better than the lunchbox it, never seen such a modernized romantic tale even with slow pace it is pleasantly touching. Less words more vibes do watch it get vibe to it. Brilliantly crafted and amazingly performed.
Charlie (2015)
Applies greatly when ever you're low
Try watching Charlie it gives your life back DQ characterization speaks everything, in every department Charlie shines kudos to the maker for this feel good attempt
Oldeuboi (2003)
Dark, disturbing & pure art!
One of the heart wrenching emotional revenge thriller. Literally I went speechless for days after seeing the last 30mins it consists of major spoilers take care before watching it. Performances, writing, direction, bgm, cinematography every damn thing is brilliant. Probably once in a lifetime experience. Undoubtedly this is korea's G. O. A. T.
If you like dark films old boy is highly recommended for you.
Pulp Fiction (1994)
We were living in the times after PULP FICTION
It's a pity if you like crime genres and missed watching pulp fiction. A brilliantly crafted timeless neo-noir masterpiece.
