Apocalypse Z: El principio del fin (2024)
Somehow this had me intrigued.
Well, I just saw this because I had nothing to do, and I just had to catch a quick bite and then leave, but ended up postponing my meeting because I got hooked. The movie was alright, and it had that thriller, apocalypse vibe to it, you can see it's not a high budget movie, but they did very well with what they had, and it worked!
When you think about all the horrible apocalypse movies that had crossed the screen, this is way superior to those. The acting was also acceptable, nothing Bollywood ish over this movie, which I tbh was actually expecting a little bit lmao. I got a little bit the walking dead season 1 vibes watching this.
Venom: The Last Dance (2024)
The last Doll movie!
Alright, its a wrap, fortunately. This was some of the most boring, doll, cinematically disappointing hours I've witnessed. Nothing seemed to work, from the music, the character building and relationship between Eddie and Venom. This is the definition of a quick cash grab, with no heart in it what so ever. Don't forget the absolutely cringe, and not fitting music and dialogue. I don't understand this way of making superhero movies now a days, the priority is not to make a wicked awesome movie any longer, it's just to make sure there is enough cringe not funny jokes thrown in. In my opinion it's hard for me to wrap my head around that Tom Hardy has delivered the role Bane, when I see something like this.
Skip this one guys, and save your money and hours!
Speak No Evil (2024)
Unsettling, creepy, so EXACTLY HOW I LIKE IT.
What is it with the 1 stars? If you really give this 1 star, you are not serious about making reviews, and just a hater. The movie had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film, it is not your typical thriller film for starters, and the suspense was really well built up, and had me interested at all times.
Unfortunately the movie characters does many illogical things that you will hit your head for. But I was actually really surprised, and I think this surpasses the original in every aspect, both cinematically and actor wise. Mcavoys phenomenal portray of a creepy psychopath is uncanny, and he makes you want to hide in your seat. McAvoy simply outshines the others in this movie.
The Iron Claw (2023)
ZAC EFRONS MASTERPIECE
Well written, amazing acting and a lot of drama.
Everything was perfect, but WHY cut Chris Von Erich out of the film, it breaks the entire dynamic. It would be equivalent to removing Sam from lord of the rings, it makes no sense. Even tho his part might be small, it just as important for the story to have him in.
"One of the hardest decisions possible was cutting Chris," the director explains. "And the reason why (is), Chris was in the script for a lot of years and I loved him and loved his character. But ultimately as a writer and filmmaker, I had to separate the real humans from the characters on the page at some point.
OH COME ON.
Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)
Half way In...
We saw this at the midnight premiere in imperial Copenhagen, it was a fun experience meeting people in the middle of the night for a new movie, and assembling fans who enjoy this franchise as much as ourselves.
The movie in its entirety was very enjoyable, but it seemed like they just had to come up with something for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, Ryan Reynolds does a phenomenal job, and the some scenes are just way to hilarious. But it lacked something which i somehow can't explain, it just seemed like they could have come up with a better story imo. But what do I know?
I say go for it, and at least you end up laughing.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
It's not a 10, but great movie!
When I say breaking bad, LOTR is a 10, and I give this a 8, thats an amazing score and compliment.
I thought there was no way this movie was gonna beat fury road, but wow i was surprised. I cannot tell you what it lacked, because I truly feel like this movie was so well rounded, and diligently executed. It had action, script, well playing actors, drama, cinematography and music!!
This is what you come to the cinema for, how lucky are we to have watched to extremely good movie this year already ( dune 2 ). I could be talked in to watching this a second time for sure.
Oh god I love good movies!
Kimitachi wa dô ikiru ka (2023)
I had so big expectations...
What a mess. The movie had no idea where
It was going, so much confusion and random scenes. I have so many questions, and the story that didn't add up. I expected to see something like his first films, but this was far from it. My friend had the exact same experience, and I was just not intriguing, the first 20 minutes was, but the story died and to many random things got involved in the movie. This seriously deserves a 3/10, I'm amazed how little this movie had me interested. The worst part is that the more you watch, the more confused you get. I can not recommend, so many bette review at the cinema this summer. :((
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
A phenomenal start to another trilogy!
I'm a big fan of all the planet of the apes, and they nailed this one. Usually when they start milking series like this, they come out bad, but with the amazing cinematography and great acting, it more than succeeded. Some movies just deserve to be watched on a big screen, and this is one of them. The movie had me intrigued, and interested in the storyline unlike a lot of other movies I've seen this year. I'm looking forward to what they will come up with after this, and I can assure you that I will be watching no matter what. Go grab a popcorn and enjoy the phenomenal graphics this movies has to offer! Godspeed.
Civil War (2024)
Kirsten Dunst is back
Kirsten Dunst delivers a satisfactory performance in an unnecessary and thin scripted movie.
The movie still manages to turn out well despite the missing script, it is saved by the cinematography, and the actors. There are things as makes no sense in this movie, but somehow it kept me intrigued throughout the movie. The movie has a darkness and thriller ish feeling, which I very much liked, and I thought all involved in this film did a great job.
As said the script was thin, but with a script this could have been an 8/10. I recommend watching this, it has this post apocalyptic feeling to it which I very much liked.
Immaculate (2024)
Dont bother!
Immaculate? I dont think so.
Outrageously bad, script was as thin as it could get. Cheap jumpscares without any any good horror suspense. Sydney Sweeney, I just don't see why see has gotten this popular. Horrible b actor.
The movie was just 1,5 hour of pointless, sometimes cringe scenes. Spend your money one something else.

Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
THERE IS NO MORE MILK
I've always enjoyed the KFP series, but they have increasingly worsened over the last films. Beautiful animation, but lacks storyline and that nostalgic touch.
Tho I won't see it was a waste of time, since I kept watching. I wish the movie would have been longer, and more deep. It felt like a quick cash grab to be honest, without the heart in it. Felt like I came in, and we left after 20 minutes, because it was so unfulfilling, everything was so superficial and quick, there could have been way more meat on the storyline. I wish they would have done something out of the ordinary, therefore I can't give this more than 5/10 unfortunately.
Dune: Part Two (2024)
THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT!
Finally i leave the cinema pleased and wanting more!
This movie had it all, script, acting, music, action and suspense! Tbh I'm not the biggest fan of zendaya, but dang she surprised me. This is what Hollywood needs, and what we all want. I cannot wait for dune 3, it's going to be amazing to see how this unfolds in the next films!
This movie deserves to be watched at a big screen, or best case the cinema, here you'll get the absolutely maximum out of this movie. Like just take a look at the cast, this movie was destined to greatness. I would say this has crawled up on my top 10 list of best movies I have seen. Enjoy every bit of this masterpiece denis villeneuve has put together!
Anyone But You (2023)
Anyone and anything but this!
My girlfriend is a sucker for these films, and we were in the Philippines and thought 2 bucks for a Rom-com was not to shabby, and went and saw the movie. JESUS H CHRIST. I gotta admit I'm no fan of these genres, but this takes it to a whole different level. I can't phantom that some people made this, watched, edited, and launched this and thought it was a good idea. The corny and cringe is unbearable to the point where you cannot look at the screen. My girlfriend as explained is a sucker, I never heard her say a rom-com was bad, but she was on the same page as me. This was absolutely with no doubt the worst movie I have ever seen. I have seen a homemade, Bollywood film better than this.
Not even worth the 2 bucks! Trust me'
Migration (2023)
Cliché, mediocre, but worth 2 bucks.
I saw this movie in the Philippines on holiday, and tickets were 2 dollars, so it's never a complete miss. Let me see, where to start. It's a story we've all seen before, it's not a complete miss, but not a home run. Nice animation, and I guess it has a good message to people. It was worth it since I paid 1/10 of the price, but if you paying 15-20 bucks, then I would find something else.

The Beekeeper (2024)
Mindblowingly bad acting
They forgot to write a script? Or bring their head along in this movie?
Nothing seemed to work, acting, storyline, everything was so rushed. The actors were incredibly bad, especially Parker. That must be some of the most cringe, b acting I have ever seen. It was unwatchable, I stayed in the cinema because I had my little brother with me, and wouldn't be rude and interfere with the other people in the cinema.
This movies gets -3/10
Way too cheesy and cringe. David Ayer this is a redo, better luck next time. My sincere condolences for the people watching.
Just another movie for the money, so sad.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)
Aqua man with a scrunchie
Corny, cringe, and over the top bad acting.
Nothing just seemed to be working in this film, and don't get me wrong, it's not only James Wan's fault, it's everybody participating in this movie that's to blame.
Just such a disappointing villain, so boring, and mediocre fighting scenes. James Wan should stick to the horror movies, it's definitely going way better for him in that genre. The worst part about this movie, is the ridiculous and cringe things they say, it's unbearable, unwatchable. Oh god I miss the old superhero movies...
Good luck to you, if you chose to watch it after this review do yourself the favour of going alone, because no one deserves to spend their hard earned money on this.
The Hunt (2020)
Garbage
What a stupid messy film. Just wasted half an hour on this.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
I should have kept the windows foggy
We saw this at drive in cinema, with foggy windows and poor lighting. Even tho I don't feel I missed out on anything...
When i kept thinking on the way that this couldn't get any worse, it did.
Just poor Poor directing, poor acting, poor casting.
I wouldn't recommend this at all. Jesus Christ I was bored
Dolittle (2020)
I wanted to like it, i really did.
I know this is a children's movie, and the acting is supposed to be like this ( I think ) but it was just to cringy, and this kid played it horrible imo.
This movie did not work for me.
Only good thing was the animation.
Soul (2020)
Life is beautiful
Disney has done it again!
I was moved, thrilled, and even cried occasionally. Life is precious, and we all must find our purpose, and what makes us happy. Life is short, so better make the best of it! Such an inspiring movie!
A Goofy Movie (1995)
Nostalgic at its finest
This was one of the bangers from my childhood. Occasionlly it aquires that I was watch this, and it gives me the thrills every time.
A must see
V for Vendetta (2005)
MASTERPIECE!
Outstanding, thrilling, inspiring and compelling to the very end. Well done.
An absolute masterpiece!
Captain Marvel (2019)
Nothing special imo
I was not feeling it, in my opionion Brie was miscasted, and she does not deliver. The film in its entirety is okay, and i guess its worth a watch. But dont have high hopes lol
The Prodigy (2019)
What movie did you guys watch?!
Okay listen, me and my friend are horror movie lovers, and we don't know anything about how they should he made. BUT we seriously loved this movie, I don't scare easily, but I was seriously sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film.
Usually im not very impressed by children's acting skills, but this kid played it of pretty darn well if you ask me. Dont listen to all the people saying its bad, because its not.. <333
Aquaman (2018)
Corny but good.
Aquaman delivers for sure. Great CGI and acting, but sometimes it was just to conry for my taste, with the whole kissing scenes, and the corny jokes imo. But sure go for it, the animation will definitely not disappoint you.
