A made-for-TV movie that is about a teenage boy (who went to my high school) who has issues with bullying that ends up causing him serious problems.

This movie was especially interesting for me, as I went to the same school as Jonothan Womback. He was attacked in the park around the corner from my house, which is a supposed picture-perfect suburbia. This incident occurred the year before I attended the high school so I did not know Jon personally. Although the situation was dramatized greatly for the movie, most of the facts are true. The character of Womback was altered to get maximum sympathy, as were the other characters in the movie, but it manages to get the desired effect. Unfortunately, this movie is not allowed to be played at my old high-school currently, and there continues to be a serious bullying problem. I think all viewers should realize that the story is based on a true one, but it has been modified to encourage certain reactions. That being said, it was modified tastefully, great acting really pulled this movie off. Despite my skepticism I was surprised at how good the movie was, but don't take everything that happens as strictly fact. Be a critical observer and realize that the producers of the movie had an agenda, beyond stopping bullying in our school systems.
