Brainy, Sexy Burglary

How refreshing to observe an ingeniously planned burglary with no guns allowed!!

Should a movie be considered or labelled 'weak" simply because of a lack of firearms?

What about one of the sexiest team of thieves ever to commit a robbery? Not to mention the high-tech wizardry employed to achieve their goals... Don't take my word for it...look them over yourself. You won't be able to take your eyes away!!

The meticulous planning involved was fascinating to follow, aside from the fact it reveals what a truly good hacker is capable of. The entire story was such fun I actually watched it twice, without ever feeling boring. There was plenty of action, the teamwork was plainly visible and this film proves that a movie does not require an abundance of shooting, gore or blood to make it entertaining..

What about You? Are You going to allow the "bad" reviews to discourage you from plunging into the movie and judging it for yourself??

Smashing Fun...Touching Story

The movie trailer convinced me to ignore the negative reviews and jump straight into the film to see for myself... But IF you are unable to access the trailer, then it would be wise to judge this production yourself, just as I did. You won't be disappointed.

The story is simple yet it has plenty twists and turns, along with slices of humour popping up as you go. Indeed, I found it touching that basically, we have a private investigator intent on tracking down the murderer of his best friend.

From start to finish, I found myself wholly absorbed.by the action sequences or dramatic scenes displayed on the screen. What a shame if I had passed up this film just on the say-so of all those bad reviews!!

I felt truly entertained by the entire script.

This is truly an underrated gem.

Are You going to turn your back on it??

What could a white woman and a black woman - total strangers - have in common? That is for You to discover...

Though it's no blockbuster, I found myself completely absorbed with the story, as it unfolded on the screen. I was never bored at any time. On the contrary, I hardly noticed the time passing by.

Perhaps the simple fact that both females are attractive contributed to this.

Why not check out this movie yourself? You might be surprised what a good team these two females make, even though they have their ups and downs at times.

Why let any bad reviews discourage you from missing out on an entertaining film?

For Thinkers (NOT Action Fans): good conclusion to Deep Blue Sea TWO

Deep Blue Sea 3 effectively picks up and resumes with the story depicted in Deep Blue Sea 2.

Actions fans may again be disenchanted with this latest episode, as sharks take secondary place to ethics and the interaction between the main players.

Thinkers on the other hand will comprehend the story flow much better as long as they keep their ears focused on every word. There is much food for thought woven into the script. References to real world events and power players crop up when you least expect them.

The setting for this movie is refreshingly original and exotic From the very outset the scenery makes a pleasant impression and the initial thirty minutes serve to set the stage for the entire film.

Every minute brought forth something new, and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. So can you...IF you give it a chance!!

Are You a Thinker who likes to reflect and contemplate what the actors are saying to each other? Then this movie is for You !!

Are You an action-lover who is looking forward to plenty of action mainly by the sharks? Then this movie is NOT for You...

IF you listen to what is being said, there is an abundance of food for thought and the topics discussed are very relevant to our society and the world we live in right now, especially whenever AI are being discussed. The implications concerning the AI are particularly chilling...

Of course, this film is a kill-joy for action-lovers, though it does have some action scenes. Since most reviewers here are action-oriented, it is little wonder there is a majority of negative reviews. From their perspective they are right, and I'm not judging them for this.

However, I thoroughly enjoyed the story from start to finish.

Never a dull moment. The story flow is logical and makes good sense all through the film. In my eyes, it is the best of the three "Deep Blue Sea" trilogy, when it comes to ethics. If you want action, then the first movie of this trilogy is probably the best one.

Deep Blue Sea 2 is aimed at thinkers, so those of you who relish this type of storyline, I highly recommend it to You...

The adventures and exploits of wealthy teenage girls attending an Academy at an exquisite Castle estate in Greece.

Why not also take time to gaze upon the beautifully landscaped grounds, aside from the attractive females, naturally? The academy itself is located on historical grounds, and this enhances the ambiance of the set. Loveliness is everywhere here: attractive girls, elegant or extravagant attire, tastefully decorated rooms and halls, and even a dash of Greek Music and Folklore...

None of these teenage vixen is a saint, but then nobody is...for that matter!! Yes, the girls can be naughty, but they do have their good moments, too. Cheeky and feisty, blunt and sexy....also!

What goes on inside the castle walls of AaWGeilby Academy...really? Well, that's for you to find out, of course! I, for one, was enthralled throughout, with never a dull moment. And you might be, too...

How refreshing to discover an unassuming, soft-spoken lawman acting as a security-guard on a quiet college campus!

He's not in the police force, yet finds himself irresistibly investigating the demise of a female student. Why would a security guard endanger his parole, his new job and even his life to poke his nose where he should not?

Well, that's for You to find out...if you follow the movie yourself! I found myself being sucked ever deeper into the story, as the minutes passed. Maybe You will, too....

Are You seeking any entertainment? If you are, this movie is not for You. All action scenes are almost comical in their execution, but this is not what the story is about, is it? If I were to rate this movie for "entertainment", I would rate it as "One" star!!

Actually, it is about a Hollywood Whistle-blower!! The core of the content revolves around the revelations of a CEO in the Entertainment World. Are You willing to listen - intently - and reflect on every word this CEO states? Exposing such knowledge to the world at large is a death sentence for her, and this is stated at the very outset of the movie. She is fully aware of the dire consequences of her actions, and this is why Michael Pare' is hired as her bodyguard.

Whether her shocking statements are real or fake is irrelevant, actually. Whatever their contents, they are meant to make you think, very deeply... Do her words sound hollow or true to your ears? Only You can decide that for yourself....and that's what this is all about!!

Instead of entertaining You, this film is about throwing you off-balance, and forcing you to engage your mental gears to analyze what this blonde is so passionately revealing. It all sounds fantastic and far-fetched, but what if.....???

You have to make up your mind whether or not anything this lady says is fact or fiction. A most unorthodox movie that makes you wonder what is really going on.... One of the most thought-provoking movies I've ever watched (hence the Ten Star Rating). Can you believe her, or not?? Should You?

Dina Meyer portrays an insatiable cougar who demonstrates that it's unwise for any man to underestimate the bewitching power of sex when wielded by an irresistible female. This is the lesson embedded within this eye-opening movie. The fact that it's directed by a female director makes it even more hard-hitting, since a female is pulling the strings of the actors, to bring out the feminine mind weaving its seductive web to lure and trap the unsuspecting male she sets her sights on. Any woman who immerses herself in the story, will easily discern the indisputable fact of the immense power a woman can exert over a man using her sexuality.

The Concorde... Airport '79 (1979)

Have You ever traversed the Atlantic in the supersonic Concorde? If you have not...then this movie is for YOU!!

Only a very tiny minority of the world's population has ever booked a flight on the Concorde. Currently, there are no supersonic airliners like the Concorde, although aerospace companies are working to bring back supersonic travel. Meantime, you can gain a firsthand look at faster-than-sound transportation by immersing yourself in this thrilling movie. Avoid being disheartened by the negative reviews.....OK?

Though films revolving around flying aircraft abound and are too numerous to list here, there are only a handful of truly exhilarating supersonic-flight movies. Airport 79...The Concorde is one of them. Two of them are quite rare but truly worth a watch: "Starflight- The Plane That Couldn-t Land -TV Movie 1983", and "Exploding Sun -TV Movie 2013". I was lucky enough to watch "Starflight 1983", back in the 80s on the big screen of a local cinema. Each of these three "supersonic stories" was unforgettable, and gave me a really good time!

During the story, you will have been given a detailed tour of the Concorde: externally and internally: cockpit, passenger area and cargo bay. Even the Concorde's performance is very much in evidence, for actually the Concorde was the only passenger aircraft of its time to be able to come close to matching the performance of many military jet fighters.

Indeed, this movie could be considered a worthy tribute and memorial to the world's first ever supersonic airliner!

If you appreciate strong-willed women then this movie is for You!

Paula Patton does shine throughout, and both her professional side and romantic side surface as the story unveils. All that glitters is not gold, and the entertainment industry has its dark side, too.

The movie flow is rapid enough to keep your interest up, with some slower scenes that enable you to catch your breath, too. Speaking for myself, I found the film absorbing and with hardly a dull moment, from start to finish. And though I never heard of Paula Patton before, she earned my esteem for her stylish performance in this movie.

Sacrifice (2019 TV Movie)

Leading Ladies in Charge

The two leading ladies truly stand out from the male stars. One is a high-class lawyer. One is a District Attorney. Paula Patton as the classy lawyer projects a very strong-willed persona who tends to dominate others in the same room with her. And the D.A. is a worthy antagonist!

Except for Al Sapienza, all other actors were unknown to me initially. However, Paula Patton quickly gained my respect and esteem as the story unfolded. She is ambitious, honest and strong-willed and dedicated to her clients, but she has vulnerabilities, too. Yet her femininity is evident in every stylish dress she wears!

The duration of the film limited the amount of details available, leaving some empty gaps in the story-line, alas. However, I don't regret the time invested in "Sacrifice". And don't take my word for it..... Paula Patton is a striking lady who glows in every scene she appears in. Why not check her out yourself?

Impulse (1990)

A Sexy Hot...but Reserved Policewoman!

Theresa Russell portrays a remarkable policewoman with style! Though she is sexy and hot in her undercover roles, she's also reserved in her private life. She's nobody's playmate...even if that's how she appears on assignments.

Many viewers have never watched this movie yet....though it's been around since 1990. Why are the networks reluctant to include this film more often in their schedules? There's plenty trash on the air, and yet a sparkling gem like this movie rarely sees the light...

Instead of leaving you breathless and trying to keep track of all the twists and turns, this story gives you breathing-space to savour and digest each scene. What a refreshing change! Aside from the main story-line, some scenes are educational for both men and women. How so?

Well, the behaviour of some men disgusts Theresa Russell, and her response is eloquent enough. Yet she responds warmly if some man treats her respectfully, gently and politely. Theresa Russell's character can discern between a gentleman and a lout, which would go down well with female viewers, no doubt. On the other hand, male viewers can re-assess how to really win a woman's heart...the right way!

Shadow Conspiracy (1997)

Hidden Gem: Fast-Paced...Action and Twists

Another one of those rare films that is not frequently aired. Once again, events in the Whitehouse are the main focus.

If you follow Charlie Sheen's steps, this original story sounds plausible because there's always power-play when the stakes are big enough. The fast-pace slows down at times, allowing you to catch your breath and digest what's happening on-screen. Unlike what many reviewers stated here, I was never bored for a second!!

Oh...don't take my word for it, naturally. If you do get your hands on this movie, You will be hooked within the first five minutes..... So one wonders why such a movie is heavily criticized by reviewers, and kept collecting dust in film-libraries? Is it because it has elements of truths that some big shots prefer to keep away from public scrutiny?

Well, this movie reveals some of the methods used by the powerful to attain their goals.We are rarely privileged to witness what goes on behind the scenes of dirty deals. But this film takes you through an eye-opening ride that will make you think and reflect on what goes on in the world around us.

The lack of reviews suggest that this movie is one of those "rare" ones that have neither been widely circulated..... nor sufficiently advertised. And I wonder why? Is it perhaps it makes some powerful folks uncomfortable? Why does hardly anybody even remember seeing it even once? :Who knows?

You just might find the answer to these questions yourself...IF you watch this movie.

If you pay any attention to the "bad" reviews, it will cost you a truly remarkable movie. Instead of the strippers dancing away in the background, these girls are the real stars, going after their clients with a vengeance. Instead of strippers being exploited by their clients, we see the exact opposite, for a change., Isn't that refreshing?

Why not find out for yourself how smart these strippers truly are? Strippers who succeed in outsmarting a man must be good. But strippers who can outmaneuver a Wall-Street guy must be exceptional...

Faithful Wife seeks her husband's killer

Watch how a loving, faithful wife resolves to track down her husband's killer. Simple as that! Though not a private investigator, she has skills that could enable her to succeed.

The female star - Jewel Staite - used to belong to Serenity's crew, back in 2002, in the TV Show "Firefly"; playing the part of the mechanic.

The story is straightforward - nothing exceptional - but it keeps you interested and hooked right up to the finish line. Don't take my word for it....check it out for yourself, and avoid being deterred by the scarcity of reviews. This little gem goes undiscovered by many....why add your name to this list?

Personally, I enjoyed every minute!!

Rebecca De Mornay simply shines in this heart-warming motion picture! Take a peek at her...as you've never seen her before, or since, for that matter. Avoid allowing the bad reviews here from dissuading you from judging this romantic tale that will pull at your heart-strings, and leave you with a warm glow by the time the end credits start scrolling.

One of the reviewers - with a 9-star rating - can enlighten you further, if you wish...

Speaking for myself, I could not take my eyes off the screen the entire time, and relished every minute. In my book, this is the kind of uplifting "fairy-tale" that I can watch over again, and still get a kick out of it. And if you aim to double your joy...share it with a loved one!!

Cutthroat Island (1995)

Sexiest Pirate Captain...that CAN push any of her crew around!

This movie is one of the best pirate movies ever filmed....and how many pirate movies boast a FEMALE captain too? Cutthroat Island is a sparkling Gem among pirate movies, yet the bad reviews and the even worse response in the cinemas when it hit the theatres is mystifying!! Such cutthroat criticism from movie critics and theatre-goers at the time have fired me up to defend this entertaining film with this review.

What was the matter with theater goers ? An action-packed adventure in exotic locations, perfumed by a superlative soundtrack by John Debney, and splashed with humorous scenes across the movie....what more could the average film-goer ask for? I was enthralled from the first minutes...captivated by the powerfully rhythmic music and Geena Davis galloping on horseback across a stretch of water, that made her seem she was actually "racing on water" on a horse! Geena Davis never looked better and director Renny Harlin has never made a more action packed film since Cutthroat Island or after!

I've seen worse movies with higher-ratings and record box-office hits....and which in my opinion were inferior to Cutthroat Island...if not outright rubbish! It's a crying shame that it was considered a flop....a fate it never deserved. And even sadder is the fact that Carolco Pictures was sunk along with it!! Don't take my word for it. Check this gem out yourself, and find out firsthand if Geena Davis is the sexiest pirate captain you ever feasted your eyes on.

Yes, this is the lesson that every man should heed before taking the marriage vows!! What an eye-opener this film turned out to be... I was not expecting much initially. However, I decided to analyze the story - as it unfolded - with an open mind. The lack of reviews impel me to take time to add another one myself.

Before I know it, I am gripped by the powerful, magnetic- but twisted - personality of the lead female star. She is enchanting and bewitching, and she has the knack of bending any man around her little finger. She ALWAYS gets her man. She never misses her target!!. Any wise man will not look at a stunning woman in the same way, after watching this film. Don't take my word for it....check out this seductive olive-skinned foxy lady for yourself!!
