MY FAVORITE
I absolutely loved this kdrama. I usually find that historical kdramas are quite lacking, but this kdrama was anything but that. The storyline, cast, and cinematography was phenomenal. I absolutely loved the chemistry lee jae wook (jang uk) has with go youn jung (naksu). Somin (mudeok) was great, but i love go youn jung as naksu. The cgi was questionable at times, but it was still beautiful, it didn't take away from the amazing story. I was also entranced by the idea of a strong, capable female lead. I read some of the one star reviews and a lot of them were complaining about Somin not being in the second season, but what they do not realize is that Somin said no to being in the second season, she opted out. Go youn jung did a wonderful job taking her place. 10/10 my favorite kdrama.
Habaekui Shinboo (2017)
Good, but not great
I started this drama because i love supernatural dramas or like fantasy dramas, whatever you want to call it. I like the whole being gods thing, but i wish Habaek had more chances to showcase his power. The female lead was really annoying at times, she was always a damsel in distress, which i like to an extent, but come on she cant do anything? She is apparently a therapist, but she definitely does not act like it. Mura was also annoying, her constant jealousy got on my nerves, even when she was with Biryeom(?) she was still jealous of the female lead. Apart from those things, it was pretty decent and i liked the story line. Nam
joo hyuk was absolutely stellar in this. I loved the dynamic of the 1st couple.
My First First Love (2019)
disappointing
At first, i thought the male lead's personality was cute, but it eventually got on my nerves. Whenever it seemed like the female lead was going to say something important, he would interrupt her and she wouldn't be able to tell him. He did this numerous times just to create problems and issues so the show illustrates how they resolve it, which would be good if the problem wasnt created so stupidly and happen multiple times. He thought she liked him because he did just let her speak, it was annoying. Also, every time a side character had an issues they be like "you have this and this so this is worse for me than it is for you" they made everything into a problem for no reason💀💀💀. The dynamics of the couples were cute despite this. So overall 4/10.
Chungchungirok (2020)
no just no
I started this kdrama on a whim, but it seems more like a waste of time. I wanted to see for myself if the reviews were true, and they are. The first 10 episodes were watchable and i enjoyed some of this.
Pros: cute dynamic of the main couple and interesting concept of a makeup artist and actor relationship
Cons: 1. FL seemed like she had zero depth. 2. i don't like the love triangle. 3. everyone aside from the grandpa, girlfriend, and friend oppose the ML for no other reason other than to make story 4. They broke up for no reason, i heard they broke up so i dropped the show, the ending is open ended. If she really loved him she wouldn't have quit just because their relationship got out into the public. She knew what dating a model/actor meant. The break up was only to make story. We watch shows for the happy ending, we don't watch shows to be faced with the harsh reality of life.
So therefore 5/10.
Geu hae urineun (2021)
Good, but had its faults
From the beginning of this kdrama, i found myself a bit bored. The main female lead was unlikeable and boring. Both of these changed as i watched more, it picked up pace and the female lead had her development. I like how human this kdrama was. I like how the feeling of insecurity, abandonment, and loneliness is portrayed even when surrounded by others.
Pros: character development is amazing, female lead learns to express her feelings and push away her pride. Male lead learns to say the 3 words and be more mature. Amazing expression of negative emotions.
Cons: boring at first, the side characters could've had so much more. The side characters should've had their happy ending too. What do you mean that after 2 years, none of the side characters got with who they want. Made the side characters feel like fillers.

Sensitive and real
The two most controversial episodes seem to be the dog episode and the eating disorder episode. The dog episode for one does show that animals too have feelings and they can feel the things we do to a certain extent of course, i thought it was cute and wholesome, even if it seemed ridiculous with how the dog tried to "commit suicide" the episode still conveys the point well. A lot of people have pets, so this episode could've been heartwarming but heartbreaking to see, as a dog owner myself, i loved the episode.
As for the eating disorder episode, the controversy seems to be with how quick her eating disorder was "solved", but it's a tv show, they can't make 14 episodes about her recovery so ofc they are going to convey the point rapidly as they also always show a conclusion at the end of each episode. The writers and most people most likely know the recovery from an eating disorder is not so linear. I liked the awareness and relatability the episode brought, as someone who is struggling with the same thing, the episode made me feel less alone and seen, that yes people all over the world are struggling with the same thing and trying their best as well.
This drama should be watched at your own discretion as you can probably tell from my review, it handles real, but sensitive topics. I found some of the things said in some of the more relatable episodes helpful. I would recommend this if you are not especially sensitive to such topics.
