Wow, this movie was bad. Possibly the worst Disney put out. The first Tron was empty of dialogue and action at times, but at least it was interesting. The acting was really bad, sets empty, robots made of plastic, and no real storyline. Watching the movie was like watching everyone just standing around or walking around aimlessly with no point. I feel someone got lazy with this. They were probably on a time crunch. Do yourself a favor, and don't bother with this. I remember the small robots as a child of the 80s. One banged up and the other not. I kind of like the country accent of the banged up robot.

It's Getting Better...

Starting the 6th episode the show started getting good again... even better than it was before. I did not like episodes 4 & 5 at all! Maybe they heard others or maybe that was their plan. Anyway, so far there's a good story, jokes, and action. I wish there was more of the old faces from the movie, but it was a long time ago. The movie came out in 1988 so 34 years ago. Wow. And Val Kilmer isn't feeling good barely made an appearance during the new Top Gun movie, which was Excellent by the way. So if this series keeps it up I'll have to rate it higher than 8! Wish I could review each episode instead of the show as a whole here. Enjoy!

This movie shares thoughts of God and the Trinity that often aren't mentioned in the Bible or at church.. at least in a way we (or I) can understand. What I learned is we shouldn't judge God. God can't give up His love for His children just like we can't give up our love for ours.. though I don't have children, but I raised my little brothers and sisters, and they feel like children to me. I still don't understand how God can let bad things happen to the innocent, but He loves us, and if we focus on His love then we will live a fulfilling life. Hopefully I can do the same.

Kind of a Letdown

I was expecting it to be just as good if not better than the last 3. Instead the 1st half just rehashes the last 3 with some screenplay we have already seen a million times and a boring world where Neo is a game designer. It literally put me to sleep. The last half was pretty exciting though and decent story, but all in all it felt like the producers of this movie were lazy and just threw whatever in there. I like the new cast, the team of the new ship.

Most remakes are either mediocre or worse. This one definitely had some heart to it. Great screenplay, music, and acting! The 1980s version has been one of my favorite movies of all time. This one is actually better! Sadly it was just part of the story, but that's okay. I feel this director is following the book more closely. Anyway, this Part One of either a Two or Three part movie series was AWESOME!! I loved every moment of it! Also that it had the guy who plays DC's Aquaman and the guy from both TRON movies in it. I'd give this a 12 if it were available. Great watch loved it!!

A perfect mix of action & story! More enjoyable than the last Marvel Team movie in my opinion. They even had the James Jamison actor from the Tobey McGuire Spider-Man movies. So the Flash felt like Spider-Man, Batman like Iron Man, and that's about it in my opinion.. maybe Aquaman like Thor. But this movie is just great. Enjoyed every minute of it. The prequel is Batman v Superman which was a bit slower but still enjoyable. I like Christian Bale better as Batman than Ben Affleck, but he still did okay. Oh by the way.. DC stands for Detective Comics ;)

Keeps you interested but one question... how is General Zod both Lyta and Seg's son? He's even blacker than his mom & his dad is white! LOL!!! It's definitely a different take on Superman. The movies covered him saving people on Earth. Smallville covered his highschool and young adult years. Why nott have something about his history? This is mainly about Seg-El, Kal-El's grandfather. It also has some history on the Zod family, Brainiac, and Doomsday.

This is one of the best in the franchise if not THE best. No more silly Batman but down to Earth serious. Christian Bale does great.. especially as Batman. He looks great in the mask. Not sure why they changed him to Ben Affleck for the Batman vs Superman. I don't like the next movie as much though.. more dark.. Bane especially. But you gotta take the good with the bad. Love this movie & love that it showed his beginnings better than any other movie or production.

But to get rid of the original actress who played Evie and say she's a new Evie? Come on! If they couldn't get her, then just say she died and get a new character Rick has a relationship with.. like Eva maybe, but yeah to say a different actress is the same person that just killed the rest of the movie for me. Other than that it was cool to see Rick with an older son and that dynamic. There was a good story in this as well.

I don't know if this one had a different director than the 1999 version, but this one's way too over the top with just silliness. Not that the original one was more realistic, but this movie feels like they were going more for the silly factor than a good adventure factor. It does have some good action but way too much silliness. For example.. if you're going to fight a mummy, you're not gonna do a 3 Stooges move & poke its eyes. That's just one of the many things that I didn't find too appealing. Other than that the movie was great! Evie looks different.. different makeup.. even a little prettier in my opinion.

The best in the series! Great story and special effects. Also the music score was nice and love the actors. They all fit their parts perfectly. Not too over the top a perfect blend of what an adventure movie should be. I have to watch it every so often. Love the music and hieroglyphs at the end.

It was just something I came across & at 1st wasn't sure about it, but glad I gave it a chance! Well put together & great little story. Also glad they didn't leave you hanging. The story finishes in its entirety. It's mainly a teen show as it mostly follows teens on their quest but is great for adults too. I'm glad I watched it. A medieval/fantasy type show from Netflix. They did an awesome job in my opinion. If you like knights & magic, you'll love this!

This show has ALOT of character. Each crew member adds to the fun. There are so many back stories from each person, they could never run out of material. Unfortunately this show was setup for failure when it was 1st released. The commercials didn't show the true nature of the show at all & they were in a bad time slot so only lasted 1 season (14 episodes). This show was so quirky and awesome someone needs to bring it back! Loooved the country themed music & the theme song, also countryish, is one of the best theme songs I've heard to date.

I rate the 1st season a 10 and 2nd season a 8 so altogether a 9. The 1st season was really awesome though I felt it started a little slow. Once it got going though.. had a really nice cast of characters & story. Also has a few well known actors. The 2nd season started much slower than the 1st season but got really good in the end and introduced some other cool characters. They set up the end of season 2 with a "To Be Continued". That was over 3 years ago so doesn't seem to be a chance of a 3rd season, but they definitely need to make it. I want to see what happens next! Lol.. made by the same producers of the Smallville TV series from the 2000s-2010s I knew it would probably be good when I saw their names. It doesn't feel like Smallville but was still just as good in my opinion.

My favorite is still Firefly due to the country Western theme is also has but this is definitely my 2nd favorite. Lots of awesome stories and very interesting foundation story. I love the Android too.. her trying to be self aware and the way she plays it out.. really funny/cute. There's a great mix of personalities from the crew and being that alot is unknown you just don't know what to expect from any one of them. If you like outer space themed shows, you'll love this!

I know this has bad ratings, but I love it! The dream world fights & visualizations and the fight for women from being suppressed by the bad men around them. I suppose a lot of women either feel that way or are actually suppressed in real life. Sometimes it's all in our heads, but there's a lot of bad out there for sure. Anyway, this had beautiful women, great story, and a nice ending. Also great music & special effects. I have to watch this every once in awhile. Too bad the main actress didn't do very much in her career after. At least not yet as of a 2017 video I saw.
A Great Tribute to Mr. Shelby

I learned alot in this documentary. Some of it followed the Ford v Ferrari movie but most of it was the before, during, and after of Shelby.. and Ford that wasn't shared. I'm happy a watched this. I now know alot more about Shelby than I ever have. He was cheated for awhile. After all he'd done it's a shame. I have no respect for Henry Ford II. Anyway, I'm glad Carroll Shelby was living the life he wanted in the end.

I love the original. Don't get me wrong. I'm a child of the 80s and Voltron was one of the best cartoons made at the time along with Robo-Tech. There was another Voltron I didn't like. The one with all the little plane/jet looking things. The lions were the best. However, this particular version of Voltron (Legendary Defender) takes the cake! They keep a lot of elements from the original version but step it up a notch. Of course made 20 years later we've had much progression with CGI and resolution, but this also has great stories. Stories like those of old but better. I like the old sound effects and silly character quirks. It gives the show character. It follows the stories similarly but better. There's also deeper character story and plot. Couple the 2 together (story and imagery), and you have an awesome show! I hope kids of this generation enjoy this show. It is not only cool but is the same as 80s shows as it promotes teamwork and getting along with others as lessons in each show. We are all individuals and should be treated as special. Long live Voltron!!!

I have fond memories of this movie, and it came out 9 years before I was born. To this day I don't think we can do what was done in this movie. Great imagination and great science. What's more Dr. Loomis from the original Halloween series is in this as well as the beautiful Raquel Welch. Great watch every once in awhile. I'd be too scared to do what these guys did.

I'm surprised I never heard of this series before I got Netflix again! I'm very happy I found it! What a wonderful show! This show is movie quality throughout and has a wonderful plot. I can't get enough of it! "Destiny is all." The intro music and animation is catchy. The story goes all over the place so keeps you on your toes but is very interesting. It's based in old England, Wessex, when the barbarish Danes were raiding the land. This story mainly follows a Saxon child who would've been king in his land but fate spun a different tale. Hunted by many he becomes a formidable advisary to all. Who knows what he'll do next. Watch to see!...

Is tis a bit silly, but this movie seems to have something for everyone. Monty Python's best work. I've seen many other of their/his stuff, but they're pretty dumb in my opinion.. like an non funny dumb. I don't know how they went from that this and back to nonsense but somehow maybe God was involved LOL. Watch out for the killer rabbit with the big, pointy teeth! LMAO!!.. great stuff!

I didn't know what to expect from this movie. All I know is it was a video on YouTube for the 'Send Me An Angel' song. I thought it was going to be dumb. It was actually pretty good and took me back to the feel of the 80s. If I had to compare this to anything I'd say it's like Footloose but with bikes (BMXs). I digged the music and the feathered hair. The bike bad boy kind of reminded me of the bad boy in the 1st Karate Kid. Anyway I was pleasantly pleased and entertained for the evening. Thank you whoever posted that YouTube video.
