Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Still a fun ride, albeit a little all over the place.
The first Dr. Strange stands in its own, even for just superhero movies. But this one is still enjoyable, especially if you are caught up with WandaVision and Loki.
I don't understand the unreasonable level of hate for anything post-endgame other than Spider-Man (shocker). Sure there's a couple things people have pointed out that I've noticed but the movie is nowhere near the suck-fest rabid fanboys insist it is. It's a fairly standard comic-book fare.
I'm not going to convince anyone this is the best MCU movie, I don't even think it is. But it's good and it's fun. Some Marvel fans are weird now, they have no ability to have any nuance in their opinion.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
A fun and mostly lighthearted time.
I'm not going to try and convince anyone that this show is a masterpiece. But it's by no means trying to be. It's fun, the characters are cute and interact in interesting ways, there are some interesting cameos and they actually reference a lot of glaring things the MCU almost seems to overlook in recent projects.
Pug and Nikki are personally my favorite pairing so far.
It feels like a fun procedural show w/in the universe that actually takes into account some of the wild things we take for granted in this reality.
Once again, it's not the best thing Marvel has ever put out but these 1 to 4 star reviews are clearly exaggerated. Trust reviews around 5 or up. Under that and they're almost guaranteed to be either some incel/redpill type or just writing out of sheer hate. It's a decent show and most reviews of 5 or above seem to understand that despite their personal qualms with the show, it's really not as badly made as people lead you to believe.
