Daphne & Velma (2018)
What the hell did I watch?..
Ok first of all, I have watched pretty much all of the Scooby Doo shows and movies. I missed the first run of Sccoby Doo Where are you in 1969 but caught it in reruns in 1975 when I was 5. Watching it with my daughter when she was younger was always a treat because she didn't know the episode names but knew something about the episode. Then as time went on Mystery Inc. Grew with the times.
And then this. For a prequel which would have been 1967 or 1968 if you were following any timeline. No cells phones. No internet. No AI! It seems that no research was done whatsoever into the history of Scooby Doo. For example the high school was Coolsville where they all went. See no research. And Daphnie being from a mixed race couple?.. when will it end?
I watched to the end to see if there was going to be a post credit scene with the gang meeting one another. But no.
If you are a true fan of Scooby and the gang, then save yourself the time and go watch a few episode of What's new Scooby Doo, which was better than this.
Riverdale: Chapter Ninety-One: The Return of the Pussycats (2021)
You can skip this episode
This episode ranks as my worst. Nothing to do with the story line at all. And yes Jughead appeared out of nowhere. As a huge Meatloaf fan right from the 70s I was appalled at the rendition of "It's all coming back to me". So much so that I had to pause the show and play the video. There are some songs that shouldn't be covered. I hope this episode isn't part of what's to come.
Last Man Standing: Lost and Found (2021)
Saw this coming
When a show has to get on the BLM bandwagon the writers don't know what to write. Having read the reviews everyone is coming to the same conclusion. Guess they figured whatthe hell? The series is ending anyways. Way to screw up Thursday night. This is the worst review for this show.
Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014)
What the hell was I watching?
For the first 20 minutes or so I had really had no idea if I was even watching the right movie. A few tie ins to the first few movies but that was it. And to hear the F bomb dropped every 5th word made this movie very unenjoyable. You won't miss much by not watching this one
Monk: Mr. Monk and the Rapper (2007)
There's always one
There's always one episode in a long running series that ruins the show. This was it. If they had done this episode very early on in the series I probably wouldnt have kept with it. If you're watching in order skip this episode.
Dancing with the Stars: Disney Night (2020)
She is not Minnie mouse
Well after seeing her strut down the runway this time I still ask myself does she think she's still on next top model?
I've noticed that there are no big stars this year. Makes me wonder if these are the second and third runner up choices. Is there a petition to bring Tom back? Ill sign it
Dancing with the Stars (2005)
Didn't even make it through 5 minutes
Ok. As someone who has watched this show on and off since Apollo Onos amazing season I am applauled at the new direction. My girlfriend and I made it past the first dance and then it had to be turned off. What is this? Dancing with the stars or Americas next top model? The way Tyra strutted out was an embarrassment. Tom kept the audience entertained with his wit. I can see this show either getting cancelled midseason or at the end of this season. Either way another viewer is lost
Toof (2019)
An hour and a half that I'm not getting back
My girlfriend and I are on a horror movie kick. Trying to find that movie that makes us jump. And because this is a trilogy we have to watch the series. All I can say is. Why didn't they stop at 1? If you're looking for a movie you can yell at the tv at the actors for being fools then give it a whirl
Joker (2019)
Origin story? I think not
Finally got around to watching this movie, I really enjoy a good origin story of which this was not! The maniacal clown that I grew up with reading the comics Was this, he was originally the Red Hood: a criminal who, during his final heist, vanishes after leaping into a vat of chemicals to escape Batman. His resulting disfigurement led him to adopt the name "Joker", from the playing card figure he came to resemble.
He was not a young Jack Napier who killed Bruce Wayne's parents in the Tim Burton travesty. He didn't start a clown movement and start a riot resulting in Wayne's parents death. Let's do a little time line figuring out too. If Arthur was lets say 30 in this movie and Bruce was lets say 10, when the time came for the two to meet as The Joker and Batman the would have been 50 and 30.
Enough with destroying characters origins!
Sesame Street (1969)
Greatest show ever
Growing up in the 70s this was my extended family. I learned more on the street than in schools counting with the count. Ernie's rubber ducky, Oscars trashcan, super Grover and cookie monsters cookies. In a world where everyone has their heads buried in their phones it's nice to know that shows like this still exsist.
Leprechaun 6: Back 2 Tha Hood (2003)
Go leprechaun go!
They should have stopped after Leprechaun in space. I was rooting for the leprechaun to start his killing spree. Very very hard to understand what was being said because I don't speak or get "ninja"
