THX 1138 (1971)
A very boring version of Logans run
This movie took forever to get nowhere. I kept thinking that 'ok wait, it's gonna do something at the end', and it ... never did. Very slow, very boring, took ages to get through, and ... what was the point? How did Lucas actually put his name on this?
I get that this was one of his early films, and this was a 'toss it out and see what bites'. But, talk about boring. I'd prefer to watch 'solarbabies' over this dribble. I feel sorry for Robert Duvall having this on his resume.
Seriously, if you're bored, have absolutely nothing better to do, or this is your only choice I mean... it'll kill 90 minutes. But I sure as heck wouldn't recommend it.
Solarbabies (1986)
Cheesy, dumb, and absolutely hilarious for how bad it is
This is a movie that you would want to take some calming plants, and play with a group of fellow enjoying friends. I don't partake in that, but I can imagine that it would make it 10x as hilarious just for the cheese factor alone.
Hilariously bad special effects, even worse acting, and such a bad script makes for a complete trifecta of 'what the hell did I just watch???'
a group of kids in the future that all have skates, and somehow find roads free of pebbles that would send them tumbling, somehow takes on and overthrows a group of power-hungry folks, along with a glowing orb that .... never really gets explained much.
So, if you want something REALLLY bad, that even the most cult-movie lover would question, then.... go for it.
A Room Full of Nothing (2019)
Don't bother
This movie was a complete loss of 90 minutes of my life. The premise itself is an interesting, but the execution is such a failure. I seriously don't know what the filmmaker and everyone involved in this was thinking.
I'm wondering if this was a film students final project. It really fails to capture or keep your interest. The actors are bland and transparent, There's nothing that stops you from scrolling through sections hoping to find something of interest, and it's just more of the same. Ending was quasi-predictable, and left a really horrendous 'what did I just waste my life watching'?
Please don't bother with this, save yourself the time.
The VelociPastor (2018)
Ummm
I really wish someone could explain what the heck I just watched...
