One Piece: Stampede (2019)
One of the Best One Piece movies.
The first time I watched this movie I thought it felt way too rushed, I even got a headache from it. However, after seeing it a second time I can confidently say that it no longer feels rushed in the slightest, and it just feels fantastic to watch.
My ONLY problem now is once again how criminally underwhelming Snake Man was.
I will never forgive them for the lack of Snake Man and the fact he didn't use it to BEAT Bullet.
I mean seriously, at least Katakuri had a legit reason behind why he was still so tough to beat even with Snake Man, and that was his Observation Haki. Douglas Bullet doesn't have that and should have been taken down the MOMENT Luffy transformed, don't care HOW strong he is. He ain't on the level of an emperor.
Talk all you want about how he was able to fight Rayleigh but we've seen Kaido and Big Moms strength (as well as Whitebeards before he passed) and their power dwarfs Bullets in comparison.
One Piece Film: Gold (2016)
Current Favorite One Piece Movie
So it's been a while since I reviewed a One Piece movie, and a lot has changed. Watched the entirety of the show 5 times, I've read and am caught up on the manga, and I still love absolutely everything about the series.
My review for this movie is changing because the first time I watched this movie was with REALLY bad subs, but I can now confidently say this is the best One Piece movie to date. Dare I say it, even better than Stampede, cause at the least the first half of this one wasn't rushed.
The reason this film stands above all the others for me is because it told a much more interesting story than the others, with a villian who's so cool he ranks as my number 3 One Piece villian despite being non-canon. (1st is Katakuri, 2nd is Doflamingo).
Tesoro's ability is so unique yet simple and the way he uses it makes watching Luffy fight him all the more interesting.
I won't say anymore but I can't recommend this movie enough.
One piece: Dead end no bôken (2003)
best one so far
This movie was perfect, it introduced a bad guy that was really cool as well as some interesting new characters. although I thought the bad guys power could have been better I don't have any complaints. The battle at the end was really good too, whenever I see Luffy face off against a Logia type Devil Fruit user I always wonder how he will win, and I was honestly surprised with how he did it this time. The bad guy also reminded me of both Blackbeard and Kuma at the same time, he kind of had a similar design to Kuma's (to me at least)
I highly suggest watching this movie, It's perfect if your a One Piece fan like myself
Wan pisu firumu: sutorongu warudo (2009)
Second Favorite Film
This movie was amazing, to me it felt more like watching an entire Arc from the show rather than watching a movie, which is one of the reasons I loved it so much. I loved the bad guy and especially how Luffy defeated him.
Although I loved the film for some reason I found it a little long (don't know why) but nevertheless it was an incredible One Piece Film. (my favorite is still Film Z though)
I also love how the film took place in the sky, and it had nothing to do with Skypiea either.
I highly suggest watching this one
One Piece Film Z (2012)
Best One Piece Film
This movie was by far the best One Piece movie so far (in my opinion) I have seen it many times already and it never get's boring.
I absolutely love the bad guy, Zed was amazing and strong as hell too. I also Love how the Admirals were in this movie (Especially Aokiji since he is my favorite of the three)
The thing that I loved most about this movie besides its incredible bad guy (Who has an incredible backstory by the way) was the fight scenes. I'm talking about the One's at the end, I absolutely love how well they were done, especially during the scene where Sanji is fighting Bins.
I only hope that Film Gold turns out to be as good or even better than this one
I highly suggest giving it a watch
One piece: Norowareta seiken (2004)
not as good as the last one but definitely still great
Compared to the last movie this one wasn't as exciting for some reason, but, It was still great. This movie is more about Zoro and Saga (a friend from his childhood) and a promise they made to each other.
The straw hat pirates end up being split up (ish) after Zoro disappears. Luffy and Usopp run into Saga, who turns out to be a childhood friend of Zoro's, but what they didn't know was that Saga had been taken over by the power of the seven star sword that he wields. I won't spoil anymore of it.
The funniest scene to me was when Usopp was looking for Luffy in the cave and Luffy runs past him Laughing because a boulder is chasing him (although the entire time they were in the cave was pretty much hilarious)
anyway, I definitely suggest this one.
One piece: Omatsuri danshaku to himitsu no shima (2005)
amazing
First thing I feel I have to say is that this movie gets real dark real fast.. It starts off as a usual One Piece movie, they are laughing, having a good time and stuff like that, but... About 50 minutes into the movie everything changes and it becomes dark and creepy, scary even. I didn't expect that to happen, and to be honest it scared the hell out of me. I absolutely love it, I have always been a fan of dark creepy things and this was perfect. my brother said it looked like something straight out of a creepy-pasta. I highly suggest watching this one even if you don't like the unusual animation, and if your a fan of creepy stuff like me then I can almost guarantee you'll Love it.
One piece: Nejimaki shima no bôken (2001)
A Lot Better Than The First One
In the second movie of One Piece the Straw Hat Pirates have their ship stolen and eventually end up on Clockwork Island (Yes That's the best description I can give) and they battle with some pretty interesting/cool Bad Guys, although I can barely remember their name's let alone their powers. I remember watching this a while ago and being impressed with how good it was, although it still isn't perfect i still love it.
I highly suggest watching it if you are a fan of the show like myself, or even if you aren't a fan, who knows maybe you'll like the movie even if you don't like the show
One piece: Chinjou shima no chopper oukoku (2002)
meh
I really hate to have to give a lower rating then 7 or 8 to a One Piece movie but I just didn't feel like they tried their best when making this, from the beginning you can pretty much tell that they were in a rush to finish the movie, I felt that I just wanted to get the movie over with XD
now, just because I am giving it a 5 star rating doesn't mean I don't like it at all, even though it has problems I still love it because it's One Piece.
although I thought the most of the movie was rushed and not very good I have to say that the ending battle between Luffy and the bad guy (whatever his name was) Was epic to say the least. I really liked the bad guys design in the end (after eating the golden horns)
so, I do suggest watching it, but be warned, you might not like it on account of the fact that it feels rushed, just saying
Kaisokuou ni ore wa naru (2000)
Great movie for a Great Anime
So I was kind of worried about watching the movies at first but I'm glad I did. This first movie isn't by any means what I would call a perfect One Piece movie, but that's not to say it isn't any good at all. I can't entirely remember the characters or the story but I do remember watching it and thinking it was pretty good. Although in my personal opinion I wish there could have been an English Dub for this movie as well as the ones that don't currently have one. If your a fan of One Piece then I can almost guarantee you'll like this, so I suggest giving it a watch just in case, after all, even if you don't like it, it's still One Piece right
One Piece: Wan pîsu (1999)
Amazing
So, about 9 months ago I first got into anime by watching Fairy tail, and I was looking for more interesting anime to watch, and I wasn't sure if I would like One Piece (I'm not the type of person who is able to watch a lot of something without getting bored). I asked on my twitter if it was any good, and since a few people told me to watch it I decided I would check it out...
Well, I can honestly say that I am glad I watched this show. I started the show back in may but was unable to watch it most of the time due to bad internet, it wasn't until September 1st that I was able to watch it again and I was resuming it from around episode 150. Now, I can proudly say that I have seen every single episode of this incredible anime. and don't listen to people who say the English Dub is bad (they are probably talking about the 4kids dub) the English Dub is one of the best English anime Dubs I have ever heard and you can tell that they cared for the show when they dubbed it, sure it's a little weird at first but it gets better I promise.
I highly suggest this show to anyone who is interested in watching something epic, I guarantee you'll love it, then again, everyone has their own opinions right :)
anyway, like I said, I highly suggest this show, It's amazing
Sorry if any of my spelling was bad
