Legion: Chapter 8 (2017)
I feel cheated.
I'm not sure how to feel after that episode. This was such a terrible finale to an otherwise stellar season. The acting felt off, the plot was just flat out bad, and it ended on one of the worst post-credits cliffhangers I've ever seen in a TV show. I'm very dissatisfied.
It goes without saying this episode was obviously rushed. It didn't feel like a finale by any means, but rather an episode that should have been behind two more episodes.
Noah, all I have to say is... why, man?
The Flash: Into the Speed Force (2017)
Once again, The Flash takes a turn for the worse.
Just when I thought this season was going to get good after last week's episode, CW writers once again prove me wrong.
This episode is probably the worst we've had this entire season. The writing made absolutely zero sense.
Jesse goes after Savitar, who is apparently the god of speed and is the fastest speedster alive. Yet somehow, this rookie speedster who has never faced a serious threat in her life, manages to overpower him and send him cowering away. She then leaves the fight without a scratch. Yeah, that makes a bunch of sense. Seriously, why don't we just have Jesse fight Savitar? She could probably take him out in less than a minute.
Barry gets Wally out of the speedforce at the end of the episode. Predictable. It's hard to feel bad for anyone on this show when their problems are resolved in one episode.
Jesse decides she wants to go live on Earth-3 and fight crime, and the entire team supports her and says "ok bye have fun." Keep in mind Jesse is a kid and is new to being a speedster. Not to mention she knows nobody on Earth-3. Once again, TERRIBLE writing from the CW. This made absolutely no sense.
Then, right when I think they couldn't possibly do something worse, the ending takes the cake. Barry and Iris once again have more relationship drama. Iris forgives Barry's reason for proposing to her from last episode. Then, Barry decides to break up with Iris because he believes his reason for proposing to her was wrong. Yeah guys, proposing to the woman you love in an attempt to save her from getting bludgeoned to death by an evil speedster is just WRONG! Don't even ask me how this makes sense.
The writers on this show seriously do not try anymore. I am very disappointed in this show. I absolutely loved season 1, but what is this? This season is not like The Flash at all.
The Flash: The Wrath of Savitar (2017)
This season was lacking, but that's no longer the case thanks to this episode
This episode finally picked up what was an otherwise lacking season with no plot development. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but The Flash actually had me on the edge of my seat with this episode, and I don't think that has ever happened.
Let me also add; that fight scene with Savitar at the end was very well done. None of that junk with Star Labs commentating every 5 seconds, this was a pure fight scene with Barry using his wits to outsmart the opponent.
