The Exorcists (2023)
1/10
Now that the producers have all chimed in ...
2 October 2023
Yeah, those biased high scores. Whew. Nice save, production and studio crew. This "movie" is more like a high school project with some brazen attempts to be scary or shocking. It's actually sad to watch this if you're a fan of the original Exorcist. You'll be rolling your eyes (or maybe spinning your head) at the weak acting and boring storyline. To make it worse, the filming scenes were too bright and the demon wasn't scary with their big white glowing eyes. I guess it's true that Hollywood offers nothing new and fresh. Just rehash more knockoff movies of cherished originals for a quick cash grab on the franchise. Watch it if you want, but you'll never get that time back and that's what's really scary.

The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)

Beautiful! Great episode!

Never played the game, but found the story intriguing. This episode really stood out. Loved the whole backstory of Bill and Frank and how they made a home together while the rest of civilization has collapsed. Bill being a doomsday survivalist that preps his home to be a end-of-the-world shelter fueled by paranoid motivation to maintain all the creature-comforts of the bygone years. Frank carries the humanity and empathy to reach Bills heart. They complete each other in many ways: Bill's cooking and survival skills and Frank's desire to make a home for the both of them is done beautifully. I only wished there were more scenes of them being happy together.

Peanuts!
12 December 2022
I just had to check out this all-star cast without knowing much about the movie. I'm glad I did because it's a joy to watch the friendship development between Christian Bale, John David Washington, and Margot Robbie. The story is factual and very entertaining to follow. Christian Bale steals the show with his in-law problems and fiancee, played by Andrea Riseborough, who is devoid of any real empathy towards his character, but only to focus on his war wounds with venomous admiration. John David Washington was brilliant as well and has a lovely chemistry with both Margot Robbie and Christian Bale.

Such a charming and well-made movie. I've watched it four times and I love it more every time ...

I love this movie! I watch it after I take my THC edibles. It's so beautifully filmed. Just swept me away. Wish more movies were directed like this. HIGHly recommend watching it.

Don't waste your time.

1. Horrible acting. 2. Not scary at all. 3. Story is badly paced and stupid. Don't waste your time on this garbage. It stinks! There's absolutely no redeeming quality about this amateur movie. The clowns were just stupid looking. Just looks awful. Anyone giving this more than one star is obviously benefiting from the production of this badly made film. Probably friends of the cast members. Avoid this movie!
