The movie could be more family friendly
24 February 2024
So movie overall is not bad, the biggest problem in my opinion, is the profanity. I have no idea why Snoop Dogg and Mike Epps act so ghetto in this movie? Another thing that i find crazy, how the parents don't care their coach is constantly swearing in front of their young children?

When Jaycen Jenning (played by Snoop Dogg) is sentenced to community service in his hometown, he is in disbelief. He doesn't want to go back there, but if he doesn't take this, he has to go to jail. The first thing what happens to him when he gets there, Kareem (played as Mike Epps) tries to steal his car. By now you expect this is going to be some terrible ghetto, full of crime, but it's a quiet little town and the only two people who don't seem to fit in, are Jaycen and Kareem. The selfish Jaycen sees coaching the Underdoggs a great opportunity to restore his image, but later he starts seeing these children as his own family.

The movie has a really positive ending. When you get to the credits and read that inspiration for this movie getting made was Snoop Youth Football League SYFL Premier sports league founded by Snoop Dogg in order to provide youth, regardless of race, color, creed or economic background the chance to learn values through football and teamwork, you see this movie even more positive. I wish more people who succeed in life would do something and invest in the community they come from. I would gladly give this movie a better score if Snoop Dogg, Mike Epps had a better personality.

Movie is missing a spark
21 February 2024
So it like this, the movie story was not bad, but i had a problem connecting with the main characters.

Both Kadir Grayson and Luis Torres had something bad happened in their life and were suffering. Over the movie after they crossed paths, we saw them connecting and becoming good friends. But they didn't really talk that much, the kid Kadir was mostly sketching his brothers face in his scrapbook, while Luis seemed to be constantly getting drunk. They were both running from the reality, because they couldn't face it.

The movie is long enough and it could show us a little more detailed story. It just feels like the movie was missing a spark.

Stop following people and live your life the way you want to live it
8 February 2024
This movie is a perfect example, how bad social media is for all the influencers who post content on it and for all the users who follow it. Influencers often lie about their life to get more views and followers, while followers often believe everything these influencers show them. In the end we have millions and millions of unhappy people who are on antidepressants.

The followers are depressed, because they compare themselves with the people they follow, so they think their are not as attractive, their life is boring, uninterested... Majority of influencers are often depressed, because they are aware their whole life is a big scam. They lie how happy they are and how perfect their life is. Study found that over 90% of participants use filters or edit their photos. A vast majority also said they feel pressured to post "perfect" photos and look attractive, and that they compare themselves to others on social media.

So be smart and stop following people and stop comparing your life with them. Go outside and live your life, even if you are not rich and famous you can still enjoy it and find happiness.

Warning: Spoilers
If there is something i don't like, it's the constant same story with the same main character. This is why i liked this story, because it was something different, but sadly it was so poorly executed.

The story goes like this... the almighty count Dracula decided, he wants to leave his home town and move to London. He hires a ship and tells the captain if they are quick to reach London, they will get a big reward. He is transported on the ship as cargo, as well as one women who is his feeding vessel for the first part of the trip. During a thunderstorm the cargo in which the woman lies falls down and the crew founds her. Dracula from the very start anticipated, he would feed on the crew, but because they still had a long way to go, he first feeds on the animals. Here is where the story gets stupid... the woman Anna finally wakes up after a couple days and multiple blood transfusions, Dracula also starts killing the first crew. I understand why the crew don't believe Anna, but considering what happened to the animals and what started happening to the crew???? All of them just in denial and let's carry on with the trip, becuase the bonus money will make everything ok. Yes they made the crew on this ship in this movie so stupid. Even when their lives are at stake, they don't go to the nearest port. One of the crew is barely alive with bite marks gets burned alive when the sun shows up, same as a buy who is thought to be dead. Maybe fire or the sun is a good way to kill this monster, nobody thought about this at all? They search the ship but don't find Dracula, well maybe check the cargo, no? Later Anna and Clemens actually found where the Dracula sleeps, but because it was during the night he was not there, they also didn't tell anybody about this, why idk??? Even though Dracula always attacked at night, the crew decided that was the best time for the final battle to take place, when Dracula has a big advantage, really?? Captain writing in his journal??? - "We can't turn back now, England is the closest port". Like are you for real, there have been so many ports between Romania and England, they sailed next to the coast 1/3 of the whole voyage. Who thought this line was good clearly never saw the map of Europe.

It could be a good movie if the crew actually known how to think and talk to each other and if the script was better.

Fair Play (2023)

Fair Play, for who
24 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Don't get me wrong, the movie was fairly decent, the ending though was terrible. I dislike the ending, because at the end everything looks like Luke's fault. But if we look at the whole movie, we can see often things were against him.

Keep in mind we see this movie story mostly from Emily side. She definitely was a good person and girlfriend, she wanted to help her boyfriend, but it would be better if she was honest about how her bosses talked about him from the very start.

Let's recap the movie, first Emily told him that he's going to get promoted because of a rumor, but instead him she did. Then she hyped him that she's going to help him get a promotion, but everything falls apart and that crushed his soul. It's seen from the start that Luke cherish his work and wants to succeed. Luke's co-workers also talked the reason why she got promoted is because she had sex with the boss. Luke at first didn't believe this, but she was constantly getting late night calls and went drinking, so he started beliving it. She often couldn't even unlock the door of their apartment. Luke was already enough stressed, this made things even worse. In the end his coworkers are bragging how Emily acted at the strip club. But things brighten up when they saw a spot for promotion was open when somebody got fired. The problem is that Emily didn't tell Luke that the boss doesn't like him and wants him to resign. The thing i don't understand is, why didn't the boss just fire him, he had no problem firing people above him and i'm sure there are a lot of people waiting for opportunity to work for this firm. Of corse things didn't work out and Emily didn't want to help Luke anymore because she knew there was nothing that could convince their boss to change his mind about Luke, she also wanted to be safe and didn't want to lose her jobs. Luke panicked and saw this as betrayal, he thought this was his only hope to ever get promoted so he took the shot and talked with the boss about how much him and his job means to him and that he would do anything. This is also the time we learn how much this means to him, but the boss doesn't care. Sadly all this had a big tall on Luke and he had a mental breakedown not only because how his boss treated him, but also because he thought Emily was cheating on him and he was also jelus of her getting along with the bosses and getting promoted. Now we get to the last part. During the engagement party, they finally had a fight that had been building up for a long time infront of friends and family. It was clear by now that they had to break up, but before this they had rough sex in the toilets. Their sex life was on hold during all this troublesome problems, so they needed it to cool down. Next day after work in their apartment we see suitcases and him explaining he's leaving. She gets really mad and expect him to apologize for the previous evening and i agree, he should have. But i also agree with him, she was the first one that assaulted him with the beer bottle. They got carried away that night, during the rough sex they both seemed to be in delirium, but because he was quite rough on her, she later snapped out of it and told him to stop. So the next evening she was telling him he raped her. He was in shock and told her to chill and move on with their lives. But she wanted to humiliate him. She second time assaulted him, this time with a knife. She was cruel, wanted him to cry and suffer. He broke down again. It was not enough that he lost everything, she also punished him. He definitely deserved some of it, but this was too much.

The funny thing about this movie is, that they both cared more about their job than their relationship, if we can even call it that. It seemed more like just sex to chill after a stressful work day.

Movie name ''Fair Play'' doesn't seem that accurate, when Luke has all the bad luck, suffers more and looses everything, while Emily only has to let go of him and get on with her life.

It's not so bad
12 December 2023
I was surprised by so many negative reviews on this movie, it was not really that bad. The main story is actually really interesting, especially when they get to the moon and learn the whole story. The main characters are decent and sometimes funny. Although the movie is long, I was not bored while watching it.

The movie is definitely not perfect, there are a lot of things that could be improved like, less known actors bad acting; CGI was good most of the time, but some parts looked bad; but the worst part just to many crazy moments. It's clear they tried to make this move really intense, but they just exaggerated it over and over and over again.

In my opinion the movie is still worth to watch.

Second season saves the day
5 December 2023
I'm not gonna lie, when i heard the second season of The wheel of time is out, i was surprised. The first season was all over the place, confusing, mostly uninteresting and the ending of it was terrible. By the look of the other reviews, majority of people thought same as i did. Keep in mind i did not read the books, but a lot of people seem to love them and mention them in the reviews, stating that the books are way better.

I was reluctant if i should give the next season a try, but because there were nothing other interesting out, i was like, sure.

The second season on the other hand is amazing. When i started watching it, i couldn't stop. A lot of new interesting characters and even the old ones are more developed.

I don't want to spoil it, i'm just going to say, it's definitely worth to watch now.

The movie is hilarious and sad at the same time
4 December 2023
Bill Burr is known to take his comedy from real life events.

This movie shows the struggles of traditional middle age men, with not understanding millennial and their logic of getting triggered, offended, outraged over everyone who has a different opinion.

Of course men are more feminine, while women more masculine. Women are the boss of the households and make the decisions, while men have to obey them. Men are emasculated in public, at their work and in even their own home. Women are the aggressive ones, who slap their partner if he does something wrong. It also shows how men can't even be men anymore, because there are no more men spaces.

Not as good as hooped
4 December 2023
I usually like this kind of movies, which show how hard some people work to achieve their life dreams\goals, but not this one.

The athlete Diana Nyad portrayed by Annette Bening seems to have a really narcissistic personality, during the whole film she mostly only cares about herself and her dream. She hires all these people who would help her achieve her goal, but often because of her obsession don't care about their opinions and even multiple times jeopardies their life.

Diana Nyad was 64 when she finally after multiple attempts managed to swam from Cuba to Florida. By this age she should have been more wise, with all the year and experiences that are behind her, but she's often acting like spoiled a child.

By the end of the movie, when she finally managed after 53 hours of swiming get to Florida, she even states ''it looks like a solitary sport, but it takes a team''.

The movie was supposed to be a remarkable true story full obstacles, courage and hope, all this was shadowed because of the main character bad personality.

A Discovery of Witches (2018–2022)

I sadly have to agree with a lot of reviews
2 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The first season was the best and it constantly keeps you on edge. You are acquainted with a lot of different characters, you learn there are three species (vampires, witches and daemons) that live discreetly among humans. There seems to be a lot of secrets that we want to see unfold. It also feels like everything is going super fast.

Second season is slow, which i don't really mind. Since this season is long in the past where you have no internet, telephones, vehicles...it's completely normal that you can't just press a button and get answers on your questions. But in my opinion it's just too slow and they are constantly mentioning how they have to find the book so everything feels so repetitive. We don't really learn that much, except that Diana Bishop is the last one in long line of distinguished witches called weavers. They eventually find the book but can't take it with them and the book has three mission pages.

When we get to the last season there are parts that are again to slow and parts that are too fast. In my opinion they should have really made this better. Diana is trying to locate the three mission pages and Matthew is trying to convince Marcus family to put aside their hatred of Matthew and join the new scion. It again feels too repetitive.

Now we are getting to the worst part. All of this happens in the last season. Peter Knox is a strong witch that have been a pain in the ass from the very start, he gets easily killed by some wind spell by Sarah. Satu another powerful witch is easily defeated by Diana, by taking her powers away. Benjamin the vampire is again easily killed by Diana Bishop. I don't really know how accurate these series is with the books, because i didn't read them. But it's just stupid when three powerful foes are defeated in 5 seconds. There should be a more interesting fight between them.

There's one thing that strike me in this series the most, how daemons are so underrepresented. We don't learn anything about them. The whole series revolves around witches and vampires. Even in the series it self the woman called Agatha that represents daemons, finds vampire and witch superiority unacceptable. If they made this intentional i must congratulate, because it does make the story more real. But at the same time i would love to learn and see more about daemons powers and lives.

It's good

Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand why so many bad reviews. Considering how bad movies are in recent years, this one is definitely one of the batter ones!

I usually don't watch action movies anymore, because i find them too predictable, repetitive with similar stories. But this movie was different. It has in my opinion a unique story, with not one, but a couple of shocking plot twists moments, a lot of action and it was unpredictable till the very end.

Could the movie be executed better....yes of course, but keep in mind that not a single movie is perfect. Just because a couple of small things bother you, doesn't mean the movie is bad.

The movie is not bad, but...
12 May 2023
...i am sure a lot of people will think this movie is about Bob Ross life, just like i thought so too at the beginning, but it's not. It's a Bob Ross knockoff. The main character Carl Nargle played by Owen Wilson is a fictional character based on Bob Ross, the story is fictional as well so we can say this movie is a parody. Carl Nargle has the same cloud of hair, the same whispery way of speaking, and the same job, painting quaint country vistas on public access TV, but he's not Bob Ross.

I was really disappointed that they just used his character like this, he is an icon and has a lot of fans all around the world!

Don't understand why this movie has such a high score
2 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
If we just mention the story...we see this decent guy named Keith who doesn't seem to have any friends except one girl called Watts. His life doesn't look bad, he goes to school, repair cars after school and in he's interested in becoming and artist. Keith is however obsessed with the most popular girl in school. One day he hears his crush Amanda broke up with her boyfriend so he decided to ask her on a date. On his surprise she agrees, but only to make her ex jealous. Now comes the big shocker, he withdraws all his money from the bank that he earned over the years, so he could give her the best date of her life. He even buys her expensive earrings and in his spare time he also made a portrait of her. This is massive amount of effort just to impress someone who didn't even know you existed a couple days ago and you never talked with.

And what happens at the end of the date? Even though Keith and Amanda had an incredible date, Keith all of a sudden sees his friend Watts who decided to be their driver and wants to be with her. It's clear that Watts also has big feelings for him, she shows them multiple times when Keith talks about Amanda, but she was afraid to tell him how she feels.

The movie goes from Keith being the biggest simp...to he wanting to date his best friend?

It would be better if they made a series
2 May 2023
Even though i really enjoyed this movie, I think this is a wasted potential. Sure they can make more movies that follow this one, but a series would be a far better choice. A lot of things in this movie are so interested, but we don't really get any answers about the virus, why all this things are happening and what everybody agenda is? This is a big probability why most people are not going to like it and this can also mean that a sequel might not happen. I did some digging and apparently the darkest minds is a book series written by Alexandra Bracken. I'm definitely going to read the books because the story really pulled me in, but i don't think the movies are going to be a big success.

Why are all the characters so bad?
15 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
We have Kate, Beth's friend who had an affair with Beth husband, but later regretted it. Instead of simply telling her the truth, she thought it would be a great idea to invite Beth, hire escorts, make Beth cheat on her husband and later probably telling her the truth. Wow what a great idea, and you call yourself a friend?

Zain the taxi driver is the only decent man in the movie, who's trying to help Beth any way possible, but he clearly has a crush on her.

Sebastian the owner of the resort where they are staying is a pervert, he is filming every guest.

The two escort guys who like to drug and rob their customers.

Pavic the cop who's not taking his job seriously, who likes to make a pass on women, but can't take rejections.

Rob, Beth's husband who had an affair with her friend Kate, later stalked her and accidentally killed her.

The acting was also pretty bad, don't recommend this movie.

The whole family seems to be narcissistic,it was hard to watch till the end
29 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
You have the son who cares only about being the most popular songwriter in the world. He's also really obsessed with some girl in school who he has nothing in common with.

Mother clearly miss her son, they seemed to have done a lot of things together in the past, before his puberty. So one day when she meets this kid who seems to be same age as her kid and goes to the same school as her son she wants to spend time with him. Just like the son she gets obsessed with this kid. She wants him to go to college....who cares what this he or his real mom want.

We don't really see dad that much but there is one occasion where we see him ask his kid if ''he's happy''? But when the son gives him a deep answer the father doesn't really seem to care. He only asked because he read this article about teens suicides. Also he gets an award and not the son nor his wife go to the ceremony. In my opinion he spend a lot of his time so he could get this award, in this time he probably didn't give much of his time or attention to his family.

Don't get me wrong, the movie is not bad, but it looks so unrealistic
19 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So you have these people of color who join the military to fight for their country. Of course they are discriminated and not treated equally so during the first part of the movie these pilots just fly around and shoot maybe a conwoy or two they see on the ground. They are far from enemy lines, they have no real fighting experience because they never fought with enemy pilots. One day their Colonel manages to give them an opportunity and strangely they do an excellent job.

So let me get this straight, inexperienced pilots fight against experience pilots and they kick their butt. Do you see how stupid this sounds?

It gets even better! Their captain seems to have a drinking problem and their best pilot is often disobedient, who cares more about medals and fame.

Also there is a love story that is completly silly. You have an American man who doesn't know how to speak italian and an Italian women who doesn't know how to speak english, but they are in love and want to get married?

Too much unrealistic for my taste.

She-Hulk: the lost fairy tale
24 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This series is more like a fairy tale, rather than the marvel movies we loved watching in the past.

Every person needs time to adapt, learn certain things, but here She-Hulk could control her powers instantly, meanwhile The Hulk needed years. The amazing thing is how even though Jennifer Walters looks more angry than Bruce Banner ever did, she has no problem controlling not going into Hulk mode (exception in the first episode at the bar, when she didn't even know she got Hulk superpowers and in the last episode).

I don't mind that the writers wanted her to stay the lawyer, but there's no real action in this series, no fighting scenes....which makes it really strange. You have a person who has superpowers, but doesn't want to be a hero, she just wants to stay the lawyer. But at the same time all the lawyer cases are terribly boring except Emil Blonsky the Abomination.

I never read any of the comic books so i don't know if Dennis Bukowski character in She-Hulk is accurate or if they did some changes, but OMG this character is so terrible. I really doubt any Lawyers office would hire such a person with bad characteristics and i definitely wouldn't want to be represented by him in court!

I don't understand what they were trying to achieve with the last episode, but congrats you went out with a bang, but not in the spectacular way.

I must congratulate you on doing at least one thing right, making Titania the rival of She-Hulk. But at the same time i have to complain because Titania looks really weak and these fights they been having look more like cat fights, not real fights.

In conclusion, this series looks to be more oriented toward children audience, so if you are an adult you will not enjoy it. And if you are a fan of older marvel movies you will dislike it.

It's the message that counts
19 September 2022
The reason i gave this movie a 10 is simple

There are too many children who are bullied in schools everyday, but the teachers and parents don't do much about it, to make thing any better!

Childhood is an important part of our lives, the experiences we have early in life play a crucial role in the development of who we are later in life.

Traumatic experiences or environments during those formative years can have a long-lasting, detrimental impact. While positive experiences and environments can set up a young child on a stronger life-long path.

The sad part is, while some children are being bullied, most of the other children find things like this funny. Some even encourage bullies to do even more bad stuff. Many victims of bullying tend to have fewer friends and they don't really have anyone to talk to about their problems.

Boring and predictable
1 September 2022
A one-man army action movies, where a heavily armed and well-trained person is able to face numerous enemies alone were really popular in the past. Nowadays they just look ridiculous, especially if the hero is a 5' 4 high 16 year old looking girl. In this movie they even went a step up since it's mostly swords fights, in the past it was mostly shooting a big gun and acting tough. Sadly other things like acting is also terrible, so is the storyline and it's really predictable how this will turn out at the end. The fighting scenes actually look really good, but after the Princess kills her tenth enemy you start to wonder - is this really all this movie has to offer.
