Every season of Rick and Morty features an anthology episode where the creativity is let loose with a bunch of different scenarios and mini-stories. This was usually done with interdimensional cable, but this season the writers shake things up. This episode is Morty reliving what Rick erased from his memory. This is a very satisfying episode and the creativity the writers had truly shines here.

The episode we've been waiting for since season 1

Sometimes the greatest villain is the one that makes the least noise. When it comes to antagonists of Rick and Morty, Evil Morty is considered the most mysterious due to the lack of information given to us at the time. This episode is the perfect example of how to reintroduce Evil Morty. The fact that the primary Rick and Morty are off in Atlantis completely unaware of the return of Evil Morty only adds to the potential that this episode has opened up. This is easily one of the best episodes in the series and I am excited for what they plan to do with Evil Morty in future episodes.
