As a veteran police officer, Shajon has done it so realistically

As a veteran police officer, Shajon has done it so realistically!

Kalabhavan Shajon starrer 'CID Ramachandran Retired SI' has been released without much fanfare. This movie is a good treat for those who like thriller movies. For those who enjoy suspenseful films, this one is highly recommended. Kalabhavan Shajon's outstanding performance is the film's main attraction. As a veteran police officer, Shajon has done it so realistically. The movie gives a really good thriller experience on a small budget. It can be honestly said that Sanoop Sathyan has approached the film with a hands-on approach without any constraints of a newbie director. Within the first five minutes, the director has managed to convey to the audience the character's sincerity towards work and expertise in case investigation.

Worth a watch!

Love mind bending movies that make you think, and I must say this is one of the better ones I have seen lately and I am glad that I did.

The writing and story was top notch, kept us guessing, and intriguing. I never had any issue with the acting and it drew me in very well.

It's not a traditional horror movie. Believe me it's not. At least not anything like any films I have seen.

Kudos and props for originality, and also being able to tell a well told story. I do hope that this team makes more films, and they have more stories up their sleeves to tell.

It has also love the kinds of movies that show young people and how they behave, including how men act around each other. It makes for great fun.

FF fans deserve to see it

A complete engaging thriller movie. The first 'Found Footage' in Malayalam will definitely be written in 'Found Footage' history in gold letters. This is a low budget horror film. Plain and simple.

I quite enjoyed it!

The opening shot, which lasted nine minutes, was truly amazing. Everyone performed very well, especially Roger Ward, Sophie Thurling and Brendan Bacon. Expecting a lot more good movies from director James Di Martino.

This first-of-its-kind space film from South India is a good enough attempt.
13 September 2018
Like with his previous films, this time, too, Shakti Soundar Rajan tries his hands on a theme which hasn't been attempted in Tamil cinema before. Tipped as a first-of-its-kind space film from the country, Tik Tik Tik begins when the Defense Space Division team (DSD), which has Mahendran (Jayaprakash) at its helm, finding that an asteroid is on its way to earth. It is expected to hit the planet in seven days, putting the lives of four crore people in danger. They further learn that a heavy missile should be used to destroy the asteroid.

A prequel as well as sequel to the events that transpired in Vishwaroop (2013), this film continues the story of Indian spy Wisam (Kamal Hassan) and his crusade against Al Qaeda terrorist Omar (Rahul Bose). This time, Omar and his henchmen are out to exact revenge from Wisam and his friends, while planning bomb threats in London and Delhi.

Anjali Menon weaves Prithviraj-Parvathy's brilliance
13 September 2018
A little more than four years after Bangalore Days, writer-director Anjali Menon has returned to the box office with Koode (Together). The slice-of-life movie is an adaptation of Sachin Kundalkar's Marathi film Happy Journey. Soon after I finished watching Koode, I watched the trailer of the original Marathi film, just to get a sense of how differently Anjali has reimagined this tale of fantasy.

Tovino Thomas adds layers to a mildly engaging film that leaves its promise unfulfilled
13 September 2018
Vishnu Narayan's Maradona is a movie in which the journey is more interesting than the destination. Maradona (Tovino Thomas), seemingly a charmer, takes refuge in his estranged cousin's flat in Bengaluru after he gets injured in an accident. The cousin and family are about to go on a vacation, though, and Maradona is left to fend for himself for a week in the flat, where he gets accidentally locked in.

Worth its weight in Gold
13 September 2018
The emotions run high in the film, as a handful of Indians put their personal differences aside to make the country proud. As we witness India winning its first gold as a free nation, you also see the Pakistani players cheer for Indians playing on the field. Moments like this, make 'Gold' a film which is more just a sports drama. This one is surely worth its weight in gold.

Abraham's gestures
13 September 2018
Police roles are also tapping into Mammootty's hit characters. That is the way Mammootty plays Derek Abraham in the Abrahamic offspring. Shaji Patoor made his first film with all the elements in the theater, shooting, shooting, car chasing and fight scenes that beat the Bollywood films.
