A Reminder Is Anna
26 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I gave a 6 because even though I despised the character, the series and the character Anna is in every way a representation of what selfishness really is. I don't know what's more entertaining, the fact that she's an obvious manipulator or a childish barbie wannabe during the trial no less..Seriously, Anna?!! You're really inconsiderate about wardrobe before your trial and you seriously blame your lawyer for screwing up?! For real?!

Bimbos at their best
22 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What a wasted budget. This is obvious with the bimbos on the beach, especially the blonde head of the gang. Yancy is probably the only decent character in the film. Honestly, I stopped not even halfway through because as far as I'm concerned, the creatures chopping the bimbos is as good as a happy ending imo.

Pieces of a plot
9 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It was a watchable piece but honestly, and you can hate me for this but, I couldn't bring myself to sympathize with Vanessa's character. The way she handled herself from the beginning was almost cartoonish in character, if that makes any sense. She gave me the vibe that prior to her pregnancy she was a really nasty person based on Shia's behaviour. He possibly developed this attitude because of her. On a plus side, the ending was well done when she accepted that the Midwife should not be held responsible for what happened in the beginning.

Dangerous Truth
30 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The film began with the Riverdale vibe. I was drawn in enough to continue watching. I definitely knew from the moment the character Ben came in the picture that the film would be as shallow as can get. Something was very off of that dude and when he shows up behind the house now belonging to Camila Mendes..... It is perplexing throughout the film. What baffles me is how Camila Mendes ends up keeping the house in the end. All in all, this film is not even retro worthy. A disappointing 90sum minutes of entertainment

I Should've Known
7 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
>>spoiler<

Before I pressed play I thought it was gonna be all Taylor and nobody else. Boy, were my instincts right....All Taylor talks of is herself and doesn't acknowledge her fan base.....I seriously cannot relate to all these people saying her life was one big hardship......really?!!! I'm sorry to say that I got an Ashley Simpson show vibe on this....Oh, and Taylor mentions her life being planned and that's with no distractions.... I wish I could have that privilege that so rarely is given....

Not dead to me
7 May 2019
I just binge watched the series. This is the first time in a while that I've been entertained by modern day series. A twisted plot about friendship, deceit and black comedy to go with it. I sure am hoping for a renewal of the series. Christina Applegate delivers an outstanding performance.

Warning: Spoilers
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS This review is based only on the pilot. The series has potential for it touches on vital facts of friendship and the type of complications often involved. It certainly sparks curiosity on how the plot will play out.

The series definitely has potential and it's great to see the former Kelly Bundy appear on screen again.

WHININ' MOMS AND NOTHING IS WORKIN'
12 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Despicable ladies in their unique ways. Each thinks they deserve the highest respect for obnoxious and total disregarding attitudes. Is this how parents are to raise this generation? Sure kids will inevitably be exposed to negativity but parents don't need to worsen that. They only need to work at being moms, especially the Anne Carlson character. She's a psychiatrist? What a joke! Her mommy ways are a ridiculous influence and her daughters disrespect for her answers that in volumes. The shows premise is wasteful and naive.

Not just a Mamas n Papas song
1 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
SPOILER ALERT I am only beginning the series now but, this program immediately sparked my interest. It exemplifies how nothing is ever what it seems. This mountain has lots to see, both good and bad in ways you come to realizations of this world. Living the dream or, are you?! One can argue the different truth(s) surrounding of the series but the many unknowns opens viewers to the more subtle aspects of this world.

This is not YOU Philly
30 December 2018
Like many series pilots, this sparked my interest and suddenly I was turned off. This series gave me flashbacks of Mixology, another series with obnoxious characters and pointless plots. Did you ever read a book while a program Was playing? Well, this series is one of those where I'd rather read and just listen. This voice in my head tells me about the series "this is not YOU Philly. YOU're better than this"

Awesome comedy.
31 August 2018
The first time in a while I've seen animated comedy as good as F is for family. I just watch the first episode and I loved it. Everything you could want in a comedy.

The Secrets of Emily Blair
15 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This is one film with a lovely woman that actually repulsed me. SPOILER ALERT I knew the film would be bad when she cuts the kids finger at the hospital. Her assistant and friend played by Francia Raisa, is cold-hearted to say the kids finger was an accident. To top it off, Francia Raisa played a terrible role in the TV series Secret Life Of The American Teenager. Her presence made it obvious Emily Blair would be terrible. This Netflix piece could have been way better instead of this shallowness.

Good Behavior (2016–2017)

Lack of awareness
7 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I gave the series a fair chance. The take off seemed hopeful but proved futile and nonsense. I want to refer to the Grandmother Estelle. She files a restraining order against her own daughter to keep her away from her child. Oh, but yet Ol Grandma accepts money as a bribe from her daughter to spend time with her son. Later on Letty bails Grandma out of jail and Grandma accepts. What kind of Grandmother lacks awareness this much?!! I'd hate to think this is good behavior for a family. If I was the creator of this series I'd be ashamed of myself. These days, it seems the prettier the actresses are on the outside the worse a TV series plot gets.

The Arrangement (I) (2017–2018)

A few home arrangements of my own
31 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
>>>>>>This review may contain spoilers<<<<<<

A good series if you like to read a book while tuned to the TV channel. Also, I can throw out my sleeping pills now because this show makes for a good snooze medicine. At least that way your time isn't wasted entirely. Insultingly dense and perverse. The hallmark of unrealistic television taking another bad turn. Contract marriages are a defeat of purpose to such commitment. As great as fame and supposed respect may seem from the viewpoint of the less fortunate, being paid huge bucks to be something totally out of character is worse than staying in a strangers home. Oh yes, then there's Kyle West, one who tries to sell his character to the audience, to convince viewers that celebrities are never as contrary as the media portrays. Come on people, we all know how the media works. What better way to deceive others than to overrate a know-it-all. If anything, television programs these days are all about REARRANGEMENT(S).

Mary Kills People (2017–2019)
Mary kills people?
30 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers

First off, the name of the series is not exactly the most catchy of TV titles. I think the title itself speaks as a spoiler. I watched the entire series and not surprisingly it came to a close after only 6 episodes, or so I thought. It seems the series will continue.

I watched the first episode of Mary Kills People and the premises was predictable. However the end result of the series, I couldn't wrap my brain around it, somewhat of an exoneration to the main character.

The main actress played by a gorgeous woman surgeon does a sloppy job of assisting the ill in their final decision involving euthanasia.

1000 words are too much to describe what is very obvious, she's breaking the law and she knows damn well.

There's nothing likable about someone who is a hypocrite example to their audience. I have a hard time believing the suffering would pay huge profits for a pleasant death.

Queen of the South (2016–2021)
Narcos wannabe
17 August 2016
Right from the start, I thought of the Netflix series Narcos. The story involves the cartel but entails a failing black humour element. There are regular clichés of themes familiar in many pictures set in Columbian territory. Coincidentally, I thought of the movie Scarface and then suddenly there's a scene where the main actress is watching the film scene where Al Pacino says "say hello to my little friend". That was a giveaway of the director. It should be interesting to see how the rest of the series pans out but I my gut instinct leaves me with uncertainty. I think the only thrive of the audience is the beautiful women on the screen. As I said in my summary it seems to be a wannabe Narcos series.

Interesting retro spectacle
15 July 2016
Right from the beginning it's obviously set in the 80s. My first thought was E.T. for some reason. Aliens also came to mind. I have yet to continue the season but so far, it's a good choice if you're an 80s retro fan. I gave a 6/10 but that may change. The other episodes will determine my rate changes. Winona Ryder so far is likable as a mother. There were some strange things happening alright. I guess by continuing you'll come across stranger things. Law enforcement is introduced with their typical Monday morning mood. The Chief of police is introduced as a conceited figure of authority, an attitude I'm sure many have seen in resemblance to other films or programs set in the same era. It should make for an interesting plot.
