The Web (2013)
The Web
Hacking has never been done to this level of detail the characters and writing were Oscar worthy and last but not least I now firmly believe that this Director Nathan Fielder will one day make another Oscar worthy film that may be even better!
Hell's Kitchen (2005)
The legend of Chad Gibbs!
Gordon never should have rejected Chad Gibbs on the show like that. And stealing his future recipe for those delicious burgers and fries at all of Gordon's restaurants is so cruel. But, Chad Gibbs is back and better than ever. He his here and has learned from his past. We all know who the real chef is here Gordon.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Shattered (2020)
You will never see Revenge of the Sith the same again!
I never thought that this last season of clone wars would come out. This episode may be the best in clone wars. It is set literally right as the beginning of Revenge of the Sith is happening which so happens to be my favorite Star Wars movie. Dave Filoni and the team do a good job in showcasing where each event takes place alongside Revenge of the Sith as well.
The animation was amazing especially in the epic duel of Ashoka vs. Maul that we have all been waiting for. The choreography was absolutely stunning and I can tell that Ray Park came in too make Maul the best he can be alongside of Sam Witwer's tremendous voice acting. The writing was actually very good in this episode in particular. The best of this great writing takes place when Maul is talking Ashoka down right before they duel. This doesn't surprise me since this storyline has been thought out since the beginning of the show. I can't thank Dave Filoni enough for what he has done with Star Wars. This episode made me feel like a little kid again. This may be the last good thing to come out for Star Wars for a while.
James White (2015)
Stellar acting by Christopher Abbot in this film
I have seen Christopher Abbot in quite a few things. Not many people seem to talk about him or even know who he is when I mention a movie he was in. This movie is very sad but I am happy I watched it. I had a grandfather pass away from cancer so watching the lead character go through that was pretty hard but nonetheless tremendous performances by everyone.
I have to say that the scene at the end of the film in the bathroom has a nice one take of sorts of some of the most visceral acting I have seen in a while. I was convinced I was watching an emotional conversation between mother and son. I did not think for a second that I was watching a film.
9/10. The only reason I gave it a 9 is because I thought the film was a little short and ended a little abruptly but from my understanding it was to leave your interpretation for what the lead character would become after what happened in the end.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Nice One Ryan!
Where to begin with this film.
Well we can start by saying what a SURPRISING movie that you made for the FANS Rian. It's really odd when a director decides to go purely for shock factor rather then seeing why the decisions made by certain characters are just utterly dumb. Oh wow! Luke throws it over his shoulder like it meant absolutely nothing whilst ruining his character from three previous films..... Nice One Ryan. Oh wow! Kill off the main villain leaving JJ to try to figure out just how in the crap he is going to complete this trilogy.... Nice One Ryan. Oh wow! Leia got shot out into space and has been out there for minutes and is clearly dead. Nope she uses the force to Mary Poppins herself back into the ship...... Nice One Ryan.
These things were supposed to be shocking but wow did they just come off as completely dumb and nonsensical. I understand why people hate this movie but if you like it there is no problem there. This is all subjective. Even though in my opinion this movie is Garbage.
There is one good thing to say about it though. Adam Driver is a tremendous actor and Kylo can be cool at times as well as his back must really be sore from carrying the largest boulder on earth that is this new Star Wars franchise is.
I can't wait to see how Disney will mess up the franchise that I loved as a kid and still do. Somehow.
Power Rangers (2015)
This isn't your childhoods power rangers, and that's a good thing!
This darker version of Power Rangers knows it's audience. It understands that those of us who grew up watching this series are more mature now and would hopefully be willing for something like this to be given a shot.
I really enjoyed it! I felt that it wrapped up some stories pretty darkly but I'm all for that. The action was also just like the tv shows but a rated R version. 9/10, I would totally see a movie like this.
