Geniuses are Lonely

I think people will only take what they want from this and leave the complex parts out. I'm s a very self assured movie, that knows it's real base. Benefactors from this movie are the people who's ideals and values are rejected because they state the truth. The truth is right in front of their faces, however particular Americans have developed a mind virus that causes masses to only way from from is fed to them. An illusion so far away from planet earth that the can only speak in sanctimonious and pandering fashion. What I loved about this movie is that it is a cautionary tale of. Those that think they are absolving themselves with false virtue and chosing to not relate to another for a few certain values that are minor to the bigger picture.

Moving (2023– )

Utterly Epic

This is one of my favorite Korean tv shows. The building of the story is amazing. From the beginning I could not anticipate how epic this would be. The depth behind each Character is so. The action is amazing. It takes a few episodes to really punch you in the gut but when it does you will be glued to your seat. Do not miss this show. Korean dramas have really made their mark and I love that they truly tackle issues without being so politically correct like most American TV shows these days. I hope they make many more like this. I am super jealous of anyone that will be just starting this show.

Under the Shadow (2016)

This movie even at 6.8 is way overated

Wow, I just had to quite this review. This movie was a waste of even 82 minutes. I seriously have never seen a horror movie so highly rated be so terrible. The plot was like the writer closed her eyes and started writing a report on how women are treated in the middle east and turned it into the worst goosebumps book. Or decided to literally write the whole movie with their eyes closed. The plot was so terrible, the mother was a bad mother and wife, the rules introduced were contradictory, the bogeyman that was supposed to be scary, was absolutely undefined, the mother and daughter just argued the whole time and the only reason why they stay was because the writer had decided to make this character absolutely ridiculously stubborn. Sorry but this is probably the worst movie I've seen in years. She literally was chased around by a naked man, a blanket, that Fys around like dr strange's cape . So people deserve better.

My Favorite Korean Show

This by far is now my favorite Korean Show of all time. I have done a lot of searching beforehand and I stumbled onto this show out of luck and it's one of a kind.

There were some powerful moments in this show. The Acting was top notch in every aspect. The lead was absolutely cast perfect for his role. The tension he brought, the weight he beared. Who has the greatest sins? There were many grey areas of compromise that the lead had to trudge through. How one can get through that whole ordeal and be the same after is impossible. The action was absolutely mindblowing as well. The lead was an absolute badass.

Bones and All (2022)

Keep your gen z cohort demeanor to the right time period...period

Ok, terrible, terrible. They had a chance at making a real cult classic here. Clearly this was a gen z art project disguised as a 80s horror romance. Oh but the needless, pretentious sob mental health story here, and I'll probably get deleted for this. I did also see a review that said this movie was covertly misogynistic. So there it is take 2 gen z narcissistic sociopaths and then make them into victims, there by becoming a victim after watching, now that is true modern mental health for you. This movie is only a writers sick fantasies played out. Should be banned on that premise alone. Funny thing is a person could be a victim of their own cannibalism. I see the outcast undertones here.." ohhhh but I was born that way, so I ate my boyfriend" where do we draw the line on art these days. Yeah maybe gen z is responsible for hamster rap, but gen z is responsible for reaching in the dark and victimizimg psychopaths" that's what this art was supposed to blur, the lines of insanity. Not a good job, otherwise I would have thought it was clever, matter the narrative. But sully carried this film, his Character was worth watching.

Normal People (2020)

Finally a relatable love story, but a bit too preachy.

If you've been raptured and caught in the waves of love, then you will understand this show. I have felt their feelings, the longing, the pain, etc. They could leave out the politics and man microagression bashing, because it really doesn't add to the story arc as much as the interactions amongst the main. Altogether bingeworthy show.

Mare of Easttown (2021)

A heart obliterating drama.

The Cast was perfect. I am so pleased with Kate Winslet. She she deserves an Award. Thr accent the relationships, her study was magnificent. All the supporting characters where right there with her. There are consequences of fight such a dark evil.

Pustina (2016)

Burns so slow but so organic

First Think I noticed about this show right off the get is that the acting is great and not Hollywood. The suspense sort of just seeps in slowly as you feel you are living it with this small town.

I have discovered, and this may sound general, but foreign actors are much better than American actors today. Hands down...Hollywood has given up on talent but pumped into the election and social commentary where foreign actors really have taken the lead. Bravo to this show. I could not expect to binge watch 2 seasons in one day from the first hour of this show but by the second episode i was convinced this was unique. When i got to the second season i realized this show is masterful. funny, brilliant acting, brutal and shocking scenes, and captivating story. Bravo
