I had the chance to watch this movie through my personal DVD collection.But i wasn't able to..But the day i saw this movie it certainly grew respect inside me towards Steven Spielberg.that man his truly a gift from god towards the mankind having made such a number beautiful pictures like schindlers list,the color purple and the empire of the sun he has the ability to capture the true human spirit. the movie is good that one is spell bounded for it.the boy has acted so well in the movie that even the guy who was in place of the acting boy in true life has given a word of praise.even after loosing his all the luxuries the boy is not saddened at all or so it seems to be.he is totally confused what to do when he looses his parents...he still remains in his dreamworld by still believing that he will one day meet them after all.there are several scenes in the movie which totally brings your heart out.and the line "today i have learned a new word-atom bomb"some of u must have got the meaning.this is worth a watch for guys who likes these kinda films....and guys pls vote for it it should be in the top 10....

The great escape.... Guys if you haven't seen this movie u have certainly not seen the best of Steve mqueen . with a wonderful star cast likes of attenbourgh mqueen Bronson it was bound to be a thriller .this movie has it all especially it captures the spirit of the war time people of their love for escape.the plan the escape it was all real..indeed this movie is a rocker.and i am sure no one wanted a great escape from the theaters or their DVD rooms while watching the movie.hats off to the guys ..hey but why isn't the movie in the all time top 20 list..guys common vote for it it truly deserves this.. one thing in the movie they showed that the Germans were to fool for them but it wasn't like that...

I really thought there were a couple of other movies which were truly avoidable and unsaleable and this movie is the one that tops the list. i purchased a DVD of this movie thinking it to be one of the great war movies kinda stuff especially on the Vietnam topic but my adventure lasted only 15 min i bet anyone can last long the movie.the print originally is so dull as if the movie is made in the 20's .the cast is uncomment-able it's a completely useless topic hiring the gangsters or the outlaws to do a job.completely this guys if you ever see this movie you have just won an award because it needs patience in it. this is truly the worst movie ever made..
