666: The Demon Child (2004)
I'm gonna regret saying this
OK, OK, now before I get bumrushed for saying this, hear me out. I have seen soooooooooo many ,just plain bad horror movies that I actually dug this one. You can tell where they made their little mistakes. I just can't help but wonder, what if those little mistakes were corrected? What kind of movie would we be talking about then? Now I know we can say that for a lot of horror movies, movies period, but I liked 666. It isn't predictable. It's just the stuff that's bad, is just plain bad. Everything else works as good as any other low budget horror film. I can name nine other horror films that would make 666 number one in entertainment value, and horror.
The Dead Link (2002)
better than I thought
Now I could tell right off the bat that this movie had no money to begin with. I kept expecting for it to turn into a big pile of crap, but it never did. It was better than I thought. It's solid throughout and I guess you have to give credit where it's due. I can't count the times I've rented some horrible horror movie and wasted my money. Very nice independent film. I can respect someone who can make something out of nothing. The acting is there, the effects are low budget but the work, I mean, they really work. It's so creative and sometimes you have to be if you're going to have a chance with a independent film. Great job guys!
