very expressive !
24 September 2008
I found the film quite expressive , the way the main character was lost but at the same much more clear about certain things in life than people who mocked him ( his flatmate for example ) .

he was tortured and you loved to watch him being tortured ! it had this perverted side which was frightening but we were all happy to see him come out of the misery again .

it was like a game character or pan-man through a mine-land or to enemy and we love to watch him under sniper attack or fire but then at the end we are happy to see him survive ...

.

Great film
26 October 2005
I loved this film for its simplicity , typically Russian , Tarkoswki style shots and some great music . a group of musicians from Tbilisi are sent to a remote village in Georgia to practice and there with the medium of a rural girl they try to get to know the people who are totally different than them , but still are their countrymen !

I loved the shot when a train from Russia was passing by and the gazes of all the soldiers and " chic" city people was encountering with those of this poor village .... the characters of the village people are quite funny , very simple, still humorous and humble ...

it showed how different people from different backgrounds can be and how simply they could get to understand their different lifestyles ... the curious way the girl was playing the piano and how anxiously she put the record given by a cellist to her to play was really awesome , i loved this movie !!

great view of Korean society
3 October 2005
I watched this film at the Korean film festival in Berlin and i simply loved it, such a great detailed view over life of a post office worker , to show how complicated human beings can be , the suspense scenes , like the one with the knife , was really awesome . she also depicted a view over Korean modern big city life .

The existence of her dead mother gave the film a subtle surreal touch , and the minimalist detailed shots were quite amazing also . many people would find this film boring but to me it was one of the greatest Korean films I've ever watched .

a film to watch !!
