Fang (2018)
Let's be fair
Putting aside the agenda driven (read misleading) reviews this did have some rather effective cover art. Enough to lure me here which is about all you can ask from a non existent budget production right? Referring here exclusively to the cover art.
Prisoner X (2016)
Unique home grown Canadian film
Comes down to what like. For my part, given a home grown Canadian film is not gonna have Brad Pitt or a Marvel Stan Lee block buster bank roll or marketing/releasing company backing them up but with what they had I'd call this a really fascinating product. very entertaining. The unique story and telling of it is their product, not the publicity or cast tours selling it.
Temporal (2015)
Hated it.
For an American, English (fan) subs are a must and I say that as a semi-pro at UK productions.
This is pointless, depressing.
The characters are irritating and incessantly angry.
Not really a lot to be said truthfully: this has been done "40 ways from Sunday" much better with characters you have some empathy for which is most certainly not the case here.
If you are looking for entertainment, keep moving. If you are looking for enlightenment, keep moving. I can't think of any valid reason to watch this film.
