Crimes of the Future (2022)
overhyped and disappointing
Nothing else to say - not disturbing or "new", simply boring.
With the sensational statements made about how shocking this movie would be and viewers leaving the cinema during the first minutes of the screening, I expected a lot. But i should have been careful, since this was obviously just marketing speaking. The movie is utterly boring and way too long.
The Stairs (2021)
avoid at any cost!
To make this short: this "movie" once again proves that not everyone who thinks he has "the gift/talent/need" to write a script for a movie actually HAS the ability to do so. A waste of time, cheesy writing, bad acting - avoid if you value your time. There are at least a hundred better ways to waste your time. This is not one of them.
Dark Figures (2020)
Avoid at any cost!
Oh my, where to start here?
The acting is as bad as the script - so at least there something went hand in hand.
But what really made me cringe were the... "special effects" of the "evil shadow"-thingy... that simply looks like it was done with the wrong software - and (obviously) without any knowledge for sfx. Bad, simply bad, bad, bad.
I had a pretty good mood today (actually, before I started watching the movie) so let me say this kindly: Please. Please refrain from writing any more scripts and keep a good distance away from any camera. The bunch of you are simply no real filmmakers. And since I've have seen a lot of movies already, I dare to say that you will never be.
So now, where do I get my wasted time back?
Hubie Halloween (2020)
A kid writing a script could do better
Oh my, where to start? There's actually nothing good about this movie... Acting - if you are willing to call it that - is below sub standard, the "jokes" are lame and dated. Sandler delivers the same thing over and over again in all of his movies: the "poor/average" guy who in the end is sort of the hero. Seen it before, next please - but this time better. PLEASE!
#Horror (2015)
a complete and utter waste of time
I'll make it short, since this "movie" is not even worth too many words - I already wasted too much time watching it anyway. Whoever thought this to be a atmospheric horror flick must be totally new to the genre, the best thing about this movie is the snowy landscape.
It strengthens my point of view that it's never a good start to be the writer, director and producer of a movie. Seems like everyone else was telling those people that their movie is actually crap and they should work a bit more on the script - I for sure would have strongly recommended it. I am glad beyond words that this writer- director-producer jack-of-all-trades spared us an acting "career".
There is absolutely nothing special about this movie. And the really cheap photoshopped inserts of some "internet-content" is just ... lame.
Avoid it You can.
