Anatomie d'une chute (2023)
I watched until the end credits were done
I just finished watching it and I feel like I'm going to wake up tomorrow needing time to process how I feel and thank the universe for people like the director, the script writer, the team and the incredible actors for putting together such an amazing work of art.
I didn't move one muscle the way it captivated me. I wanted to be there with them, present, like the movie makes you feel. I was tempted to think at the beginning that there's no way they can make it different than other detective movies. Probably soon I'll get the gist of the crime. But in the end I realized that this movie is way more than that or, dare I to say, not even about "the crime" at all. I'm glad to say I got to watch something sooooo good in the first month of this year. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The Shining (1980)
Excellent horror thriller classic
As a die hard fan of horror movies I gave this movie a chance in 2023 when I was a bit bothered by always having to skip the iconic cover the movie when searching for a new horror movie to watch. I just decided to watch so that I don't have think about it again. Such an AMAZING acting from Nicholson, hands down one of the best acting I've ever ever seen in any movie of any genre. Even though the script could be described as simple and unimpressing, I think this movie stands as the fundament for many movies and many actors that want a masterclass in how to scare people with your good acting. I do believe the lady could've broken the glass of the bathroom, but overall i grew to love the cast choice. 10/10 from me. Thank you.
Black Summer (2019)
Weak script
Perpetuating the same zombie movies stereotype that whenever in panic everyone is just dumb, no matter how intelligent they were before apocalypse.
Oh, let me just scream very loud before I try to put this axe in your skull Mr zombie so that you can hear me and turn yourself face to me, even though I really tried to hide from you so that I can finally kill you with this axe I found.
And also why not add some extra sounds in postproduction for when I walk on all fours on the roof of the bus to make it sound like I'm deliberately making this big azz sounds trying at the same time to not get the attention of the zombie? Oh yes, I think it would be a good idea to add them because there's no way you can crawl on top of a bus without making a sound.
This series had potential but I guess, stereotypes just make it better huh?
Snowtown (2011)
Unusual
Really nice acting and directing.
I'm not sure if I'd tone down the dread in some scenes or not, but I respect that they tried to keep it realistic.
It's not a commercial movie for a reason.
The acting of Jamie it's incredibly realistic and it's a masterclass for the actors that know how to be present with just a few script lines. It's all in the body language, the face game.
It's also interesting how they made Jamie look very young and innocent and grew him up to the point where we witness him becoming a man.
As a fan of horror movies, I don't even get this (horror) feeling from the horror movies that I got from this movie.
No One Gets Out Alive (2021)
This deserves a good rating
Thanks for not using the quiet-boom" generic horror effects that every bad horror movie does with abundance, thanks for not using american actors to speak non-english languages like 99% of american movies do, thanks for a good movie in a big horror movie draught era.
There's a lot of remarks I could speak about still, but comparing to what's out there, I gave you a solid 9.
There's Someone Inside Your House (2021)
Wake up, it's 2021, not 2005
The fact that you're still writing scripts and producing movies that only perpetuate and encourage american stereotypes in 2021 either means people are still really dumb or you think people are that dumb.
When you think of calling 911 and you're running out of time the first thing you do you tell them where you are and not "the killer is HERE". "HERE!!!!!???" Really?!!
I can't believe you guys spend millions for such boring products. Did you hire tiktokers to write the script?
Kin (2021)
Disappointed in the first two minutes
I'm sorry, I don't want to keep watching it past the scene with two police man in the car. I can see the contour of panels of screen that plays "riding in traffic". The size of the cars they are "passing by" are so big that look like they drive in a city for giants. Who can give an "ok" to such a scene and move on as a director????? It's 2021 ffs! Netflix?????!!!!!!!!
He's All That (2021)
I have an opinion
Bitc* please. And if you say my review is too short in just going to repeat "Bitc* please" again.
A Classic Horror Story (2021)
Imitation of lame American horror movies
1. A lot of cringy stuff.
2. Not all horror movies need to have a character that is a moron
3. You don't walk towards a cabin like a Victoria's Secret model right after a car crush
4. You can still make a horror movie in Italy even without making color correction that makes it look like any other country, but Italy
5. It's not a better decision to let someone drunk drive just because you don't have your driving license with you.
And many more....
My Love: Six Stories of True Love (2021)
Dopamine boost
Totally recommend. I've never been so relaxed watching series about people's lives. Never been so focused watching people live their life not for the camera.
Brightburn (2019)
Too American style
Weird to see Elisabeth playing in such a dull movie. Lazy script, lazy casting.
Eu când vreau sa fluier, fluier (2010)
Unexpectedly good
I have to admit I never liked the title of this movie, which stopped me from watching it earlier than I did today, but that's just subjective. I'm a very critic audience for movies, especially the ones that speak my language. This movie, the actors, the script, the acting, the directing and the shots were breathtaking. I loved it from the first couple of frames. I wish I could gave it a try much sooner.
Deep Water (2016)
She's good
Finally some cop who knows how to shoot in the hand, not kill the antagonist!! Good job here!
Friends from College (2017)
Borin
Just borin, so everything I say now is because the review can't be very short
The Nun (2018)
It's a lazy movie
Horror Directors nowadays have become very lazy. Very cliché and so repetitive.that's what this movie is about
Mara (2018)
Bad directing
"Please let her a few minutes more with her daughter "
"no, I have to go home "
*he pulls her away, she starts screaming and her daughter starts screaming and the toy is torn apart*
Blablabla meh
