Gone Dark (2013)
What a waste of time...
Everything from Uwe Boll (who was once called worst filmmaker of the world) is pure Academy Award Gold against this utter crap... There are not enough hard drugs on the world to make one so high, that watching this would be an enjoyable experience! I really cannot understand how the makers got any kind of financing for filming this, because I cannot imagine that anyone with a clear mind would backup this crap. Because people need to be warned and I don't want to waste any more time on this, I just copy the upper part again.... Batman Begins (2005)
The real deal!
Hi there...
We've seen it 2 days ago and we're still talking about it!
THAT was the Batman movie i always wanted to see!
I can highly recommend anyone to go and see that one in a theater with a BIG screen and a real good multichannel sound system! Some sound effects where made such so brilliant that we were turning our heads, because often enough sounds came from everywhere!
The scenes where sometimes like a Frank Miller - Batman novel coming alive; Such dark, raw and frightening. Very graphic special effects. Images, which will hunt you in your memory for such a long time.
I always liked Christian Bale a lot. His "Machinist" was played so damn brilliant.
And here he is: The bonvoyant billionaire - an easy life go-er, the thoughtful man - hunted by memories of his past, the mean beast Batman - with a voice you surely never forget! A man torn between the different layers of his personality, always in a struggle with himself and his destiny.
After seeing this movie i really cannot think about any other actor who would have played this role in such a deep and complex manner! I'm really sad for this guy, because it's well know that playing a graphic novel character does not earn a Oscar, even if played brilliant like he did. It's great to know that he has signed for THREE batman movies. So I expect there are still two more great ones to come.
Not to forget the rest of the cast! Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman (nice to see him in a positive role!) made the characters they've played to a perfect mix between sidekicks and father figures.
Even the bad guys (except the beauty face who played the scarecrow) had multiple layers in their roles. Liam Neeson was great as the former tutor and wise guide - who turned out to be a fanatic "Bin Laden" like bad guy!
This is not a colorful "Joel Schumacher - i wanna see tight asses in rubber" kind of movie or a "Tim Burton's - Ghost Train Experience at Disney Park" kind of stuff!
This is the real deal!
I hope there were not to many mistakes made - Still trying to get some practice in English again!
Greeting from Germany,
hjoe
