Mr. Robot (2015)
Farewell
Hello Friend,
I don't usually write a review unless I feel the need to do it.
This show is a pure form of Art.
I feel blessed to have witnessed such a beautiful creation. A show that connected with me on the deepest emotional level, and always left me striving for more, until, in the end, it offered me the highest level of satisfaction I have ever felt while watching a TV series.
A big thanks to all the people involved in this masterpiece for this truly amazing, unparalleled experience.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
The greatest disappointment of my life
GOT ended some months ago, and I still can't get over the sorrow the last season has filled me with.
It was the worst ending to one of the most beautiful series in the history of television.
I think I must read the books, longing for a story that may fill the disappointment inside me.
Living with Yourself (2019)
Good but not enough
The show's story is good and twisted, and Paul Rudd is obviously an incredibly talented actor. He managed to portray two different versions of "Miles" with high authenticity and skill.
However, the show is neither that funny nor that dramatic, it's stuck in between. It's somehow superficial, and lacks deep emotional moments or attachment to the characters.
The ending could have been different, and the whole show could have been deeper and more intriguing.
There could have been moments where old "Miles" is desperate to gain back his wife by showing himself prepared to change and get back to his old self, and having learned how much it means to her to have him back.
In the end, it is an enjoyable show with a twisted plot and interesting characters.
Atypical (2017)
Beautiful
I don't normally write reviews. However, for this Title, I was compelled to write one.
This show portrays the difficulties and challenges that face both teenagers and adults regarding relationships, high school, college, work and life in a broad sense.
Mor importantly, it is about a person with ASD who tries to prove himself in an ever-changing world, and strives for a better future, struggling with proper social acceptance and appreciation, but supported by a group of loving family and loyal friends.
I loved this show, it was consistent throughout its 3 seasons. The cast are incredibly talented, the environment is great, and the directors produced a solid foundation of something that could go on for many more seasons.
But most of all, I loved the Script, it is written with utter delicacy and attention to detail, and it captured me in every way possible.
